Great Fun. My grand daughter loves Pete the Cat books.

This book is very cute and fun. My daughter enjoys the story and the pictures. It teaches a positive message about staying calm and enjoying the day. Perfect for young children and early readers.

Great book for the snowy season. It has been snowing a lot here lately and I wanted a book about playing in the snow and stuff for my kid to read about. This one is perfect, and its Pete the cat! Simple sentences helps her recognize words too and helps her "read along". She isnt old enough to read yet but she tries to follow the words.

My Red Hat group provides books for a local Pre-k class every year before winter break. The kids were thrilled with their Pete the Cat books! The teacher said they hadn’t read that one so our group was really happy to have chosen this one! Cute pictures and story line. Easy to read and practice with their parents or caregivers.

I bought this for myself, a young adult. As a kid I read a lot of these books, but surprisingly I don't have many memories of Pete the Cat, I was more so drawn to Babymouse, Junie B Jones, and Pinkalicious. Even so, while I was buying some of these books for nostalgia I decided to give this book a try since even though I hadn't really read much of Pete the Cat even when I was young, I recognized the character as he is a bit iconic. Needless to say I'm not disappointed. This book is certainly targeted for young kids learning to read, but even now I enjoyed it quite a lot. I think the funniest part was when Pete missed school so much.. he quite literally plowed the streets himself. It was a huge tone shift and legitimately made me laugh out loud.

A fun holiday favorite that has everything you love about a Pete the Cat book! The story is engaging, playful, and was a great choice for our first grader as he was gaining confidence and becoming a stronger reader. It’s a fun book to enjoy together while also encouraging early reading skills.

My kids have a ton of pete the cat books so we got this as a Christmas gift to add to their collection! They love them all!
