Sirens

I've been following Nicholas Jaar career for some while, and I find him quite good and interesting, so I took my chances with this work that wasn't that well known. Sadly, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. Its so experimental that somewhat between 50% of the recording is actually music, the rest is unidentified sounds that you can get tired of. not my recommendation.

All of this in available online, but I like being able to play it through my CD player. Nicolas Jaar makes me want to move. I want more.

Mint condition. Not a scratch on the lottery paper cover (fyi, it's white not gray). Vinyl quality: excellent.

Formidable

I fell in love with the digital version of this album upon its initial release and it's been on heavy rotation since. But listening to the lp is an entirely different experience altogether. For one, Side A includes additional tracks "Sirens" and "Wildflowers," and although I'm not entirely sure (writing this as I'm listening), it seems as though there are subtle variations to the analog versions of the tracks that I have grown to love. With Sirens, Nicolas Jaar has crafted a deeply sophisticated, nuanced, personal/political record that blends various musical styles and sonic atmospheres together, unveiling something new with each listen. This album easily tops my list of favorites from 2016. For me personally, this is more than just music, it's art.

... tatsächlich aber in jämmerlichem Zustand angekommen. Und das lag nicht an der Versandverpackung. Das so ein Produkt für rund 15 EURO verscherbelt wird ist eine Unverschämtheit. Ich habe mich so geärgert, dass die Platte in den Müll gewandert ist. Sonst wird sie wohl noch hundertmal hier verkauft. Der digitale Download war natürlich auch nicht mehr dabei. Den habe ich mir jetzt bei einem anderen Anbieter gekauft. Leb wohl Amazon!

Nicholas Jaar, credo uno degli artisti elettronici sperimentali più importanti oggi.Jaar ci ha dimostrato che la ricerca dei suoni non basta più: è impressionante come egli cerca sempre di stupire con i suoi brani, studiati sempre più a fondo per ridare nuovo concetto alla modernità musicale.Consiglio anche di ascoltare anche l'album precedente di Nicholas Jaar, "Space is Only Noise".

estupendo álbum, gran diseño pero tristemente el mío vino con una mancha de pegamento en al inicio del lado A y era el último en stock. me lo quedo porque estaba en promoción pero es imposible escuchar el inicio de ese lado
