I had installed LED shop lights in the garage and needed to tailor the wires. These connectors worked perfectly. I noticed some poor reviews so let me clarify to make it easy for the next person.These connectors are specifically for the flat type wire that comes on lighting fixtures. The hot is the smaller of the two prongs so I first marked the wire to make sure it was the same throughout. Second, cut the wire and insert the end opposite the opening on your new plug From the opening, I pressed the wire down into the plug with a flat blade screwdriver so the wire was below the top of the plug. Where the curved end is inserted, that creates a tall area on the wire That cannot be pressed down into the plug with a screwdriver. You will notice on the cover there is a slight ramp to the underside. The ramp is inserted on the side, which is open and the wire extends to your fixture.If you follow these instructions, you can place the cover about 3/4 of the way down then with the use of a pair of pliers gently squeeze it closed over the curved end of the wires. I used all 10 and did not have a problem with any of them, every light function as before without any adjustments.Hope this helps.

These slip plugs, or maybe since Halloween is so close, vampire plugs are handy to have on hand now that the holidays are fast approaching! I was going through my electric Christmas candles and found one had a bad plug. These are just the ticket! I wouldn't use these for anything that draws a lot of amps, but for light duty cords these work great!

Worked great

Used clear electric extension wire and I put the plugs where needed. Works for having power where needed instead of having tons of excess wires all over. One wire and plugs where needed.

Couldn't get these to work for the life of me. Not easy to use, I ended up returning it. Cheap quality

Very sloppy to install and every one when wiggled lost it's connection.
