Only lasted a few months
Sticky gel only lasted two months, non-recoverable.Update: Original review was for the optional 3M adhesive mounting disc w/pad. I removed that since it failed and used the suction cup, which has been holding up thus far.

Didn’t stick despite following instructions
I was hoping I wasn’t going to write one of these, but I followed the instructions to the tee. Cleaned the surface, left the sticky pad on for a day before using it. Didn’t even last a day. Really needed this for work too, but I leave my truck for a couple hours and come back to see the entire holder laying on my seat. Pretty disappointed considering this seemed more promising then the other holders on here, and I’m really not trying to lose a cupholder for those other holders, so I was really rooting for this to work.

However, the grip is a bit too strong, and it can be a little difficult to remove the tablet from the holder. Even with that small issue, it is still a very useful and well-made product.
