The Honest KitchenMinced - Turkey in Bone Broth Gravy Wet Cat Food, 5.5 oz (Pack of 12)

I thought my 2 fur creatures would love this, but they didn’t go for it with their normal gusto. I love the ingredients,didn’t have any of my no no’s as far as ingredients. It doesn’t have a strong smell, but I am not a cat. Obviously. They didn’t care for it either because they normally are in a race to get to the feeding table. I had to mix I with some freeze dried food they get as treats for them to eat it. And also for me the container is inconvenient hard to open and difficult to get all the food out, you need a rubber scraper and it’s just not a good design.But I do believe this is a healthy food, not containing any crap found in most foods.

My 3 cats have been eating The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Turkey Recipe for the past 6+ years, but began getting bored of the same old thing. Although they are still in the transition phase, all 3 cats are obsessed with this new food!

No way to seal box after opening. Ended up sealing leftovers in sealable baggie to keep refrigerator from smelling like fish.

I’ve been searching for cleaner ingredient cat food and this was recommended on some website that did an in depth investigation in 2022. My cat threw it up soon after eating, and all of it, not just a little. I looked at the ingredients and there is blueberry and cranberry in it; I was curious if this doesn’t work for obligate carnivores. I don’t mind ditching this brand because the container is fussy and it’s also too much to feed at once so I have to deal with refrigerating and dealing with the fussy container again and then warming up for kitty. A bust all around. And FYI she threw up the same brand but the red package flavor too, can’t remember what that was, maybe salmon.

I had been looking for a better wet cat food for my 5 cats. Honest Kitchen is a human grade cat food. My cats coats have all improved. No more dandruff, their fur is shiny. The biggest improvement is that their 💩. It doesn't smell up the house. It is a little pricey but I feel you get what you pay for.

The media could not be loaded.  Before I can even get a box of it open, my cat is already in the kitchen wrapped around my legs this meowing crawling up my pants leg trying to hurry up and get this food. He loves this food. Tried for your cat.

The smell is atrocious. I have a tough stomach, but these had me gagging upon opening. That’s another thing they are really difficult to open. I finally got to the point I was just cutting the entire top off instead of trying to open like the instructions say. My cats thoroughly enjoyed this food though. That’s pretty much the only good thing I have to say about it.

They love these sooo much. I get huge points. And of course I take all the credit. Out fishing the deep all day. They must taste great. They get super excited. I can slip in their supplements. Everyone wins.
