Def Leppard, Britain’s greatest arena rock band, release a deluxe edition of the classic album Pyromania. Having sold over 65 million albums worldwide since their debut release in 1980 and proved themselves one of rock music’s hardest working and consistently powerful live bands (playing to over 50 million fans in the last 15 years alone), this timely deluxe expanded edition is a must for any discerning music fan. Def Leppard remain one of only five rock groups who can claim two separate original 10 million plus selling albums in the US (Pyromania being one of them). This deluxe edition features a deluxe digipack gatefold packaging with expanded booklets containing rare and previously unseen photographs, comprehensive sleeve-notes telling the story behind the album and includes images of rare single covers and memorabilia from the period. Liner notes come from Rolling Stone’s David Fricke. Pyromania, Def Leppard’s third album originally released in 1983, was the album that took the band to the global stage. Track List: Disc 1: Pyromania Remastered 1. Rock! Rock!! (Till you Drop) 2. Photograph 3. Stagefright 4. Too Late for Love 5. Die Hard the Hunter 6. Foolin' 7. Rock of Ages 8. Comin' Under Fire 9. Travelin' Band (featuring Brian May) Review: Jan 20 1983 was the release date - One of the best albums ever made costing $1M Review: Pyromania is hotter than ever. - When I heard earlier this year that Def Leppard was releasing deluxe editions of Pyromania and Adrenalize, I was ecstatic, to say the least. The only downside was that I had to wait 3 months to get my hands on them, but for Pyromania, the wait was definitely worth it. The deluxe edition is a must-have for any Lep fan. It contains all 10 tracks from the original album remastered on disc 1, as well as a complete live concert recorded at the LA forum in 1983 on disc 2. I've heard some complain that the remastering on the first disc isn't that noticeable, but I can't agree with that. Comparing the tracks on the deluxe edition with tracks from the original 1983 release, you'd have to be deaf to not hear the improvement. The sound is clearer, crisper, and brings new energy into the songs that you can't get with the originals. This is especially great if you happen to like songs off the album that weren't necessarily big hits and haven't yet been re-released and remastered on a compilation album ("Comin' Under Fire" happens to be my second favorite song on Pyromania, and I was always disappointed at not having a remastered version of the song, but now I do!). While the remastering is a great treat, the second disc is really what makes the deluxe edition a must-have. Its 15 tracks cover an entire Def Leppard concert at the LA Forum in 1983 (and I do mean the entire concert...they even left in Phil and Steve's guitar solos). While bootlegs of the concert have been around for ages, the mastered recordings on the deluxe edition sound SO much better. Joe's voice sounds great (he was only 24 and at his prime) and the instrumental backup he has from Phil, Steve, Sav, and Rick is just absolute perfection. For many, this is also the only time you'll ever get to hear professional, mastered live recordings of some of Def Leppard's earlier songs off High 'N' Dry, since there are no other recordings of these save for some extremely rare limited release DVDs. To sum it up, Pyromania the Deluxe Edition is worth every penny it costs. In my opinion, it should've been released a lot earlier (I'm surprised it didn't come out with the deluxe edition of Hysteria) but better late than never! Any true Def Leppard fan should pick one up as soon as possible and even casual listeners should seriously consider owning a copy.

Perfect Transaction!
The Compact Disc (CD) I ordered was delivered quickly. Packaged well & arrived with no issues. It is in brand new condition & was still sealed in its factory plastic. Flawless transaction! Great Price & Great Seller. The CD has several good songs on it & brings back a lot of good memories from my youth. Rock On! \m/

It's Def Leppard.
What else is there to say? This album is what got me hooked on Def Leppard 45 years ago.

What happened to the digital download?
Docking it a star for no digital download. What happened to the digital download when you buy a hard copy of something? I love this album...I wore the cassette out back in the day, replaced it with the CD, have no idea who snagged it so bought another one. I'm sure everyone is on board with just online stuff but just wait till your internet goes down or electricity is off. Then you have to go old school.

Keine Heilung in Sicht.

Pyromania is one of those albums that any rock lover should have in their collection. I had this on vinyl and would spin it daily. I played side 1 for months before I even tried side 2. When I upgraded most of my collection to CD I was orginally put off by the sound. I didn`t find it loud enough, and it didn`t seem to carry the same punch as the LP did. When I found out this release would be remastered and would include a live show as a bonus disc, I had to jump at the chance to re-purchase it. I was not disappointed. I was very impressed with the sound, and listening to this thing on full volume really took me back to my teenage years. I have to say the bonus disc is worth the price of this package alone. Def Leppard sounded great, and it was nice to hear the older tunes that made up part of their set. Most of the time when bands or record companies re-release older titles, they are not worth the money. Especially when you already own the original CD. In this case, the opposite is true. Even if you already own this title, buying this revamped version is worth every penny. I simply love this album, and I feel good to strongly suggest it to anyone else thinking about picking it up.
