The barometer actually seems to work well
I was uncertain about getting a barometer at all after looking at multiple reviews (for multiple different barometers); so many reviews say they are unreliable. However, after getting this one and setting it the way the instructions said, it has given the same readings as a local weather station every day for the past two weeks. I pick it up and tap gently to let the needle swing around some but it's final stop is always very close to what the local weather station says. So I have been very pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of the barometer part. The thermometer also seems to be accurate. I am not as sure about the hygrometer, because I have another hygrometer and they seem to disagree with each other most of the time. But the needle definitely moves and I can see when it is more humid or less humid; but whether the actual numerical reading is accurate or not with the hygrometer I cannot tell.Overall I'm very satisfied with this item and it is nice to have all three meters in one.

Not a scientific instrument
Stated accuracy is +/- 9%RH for humidity, +/- 10% for temperature. Those are high error factors. Not very helpful. I find the actual reading errors to always be that poor and more. They never read the value reported by other household digital devices. But the barometer is even worse. The spec says 1% precision but I find in multiple high and low pressure days the reading is often off by 5 to 10%. Like another reviewer stated, it is only accurate at the moment you manually set it to NOAA reporting for the moment. And yes, I tap it and I did the pressure Ziplock bag test too. The needle moves, it just doesn't point to a number you can trust.

Mixed bag
I didn't purchase this for accuracy. I purchased it for one simple purpose.I have discovered that severe increases in atmospheric pressure trigger sinus headaches. I know that we see a sudden drop, a sinus headache is on the way, and if I can know it's coming, I can take steps to avoid it.It does it's basic purpose, but it is just annoying that you have to tap the glass to get it to respond. I guess from now on, when I check it in the morning, I'll just automatically tap the glass.Yesterday was the first big test. I didn't see a forecast for rain, and it was actually day two of having it mounted. I was surprised to see that when I tapped it, the needle dropped significantly. Well, I wouldn't have even noticed had I not intentionally tapped the glass to see if it was working, and sure enough, it got really windy with an extreme pressure spike later on in the day. Once again, I had to tap the glass to get the barometer needle to accurate respond to the change. So yeah, it does work. It's not going to suit my purposes, though, as it is mounted in a place that's not easy to tap, so I guess I'll be keeping the stepping stool handy while searching for a replacement.

Impossible to adjust
Cannot even determine accuracy because the set screw and the dial do not seem to be synched. The dial roams +-2 for any setting on the screw. Really disappointing
