I have only had this for one week so this is my first impression and will update as time goes on.I was very surprised at the material and build quality of the camera. The mirror camera are made of metal and plastic composite that feels very solid. The backup camera housing is encased in some sort of metal housing and not cheap plastic like most are. There are attention to details in the design like addition of USB port at the plug so you can charge something else. Addition of an anti reflective film for the mirror as well as the free 32 GB card are icing on the cake. Touch screen is responsive. Camera mirror turns on once there is power and you can turn off with button to use as rear view mirror.The front camera can tilt slightly around but not much. Initially, I had thought that this might be a major issue since I had to tilt my mirror downward, thus making it impossible to view it as a regular rear view mirror. However, I was wrong as you are able to adjust the UP or Down angle via the digital touch screen. You can also adjust the brightness of the mirror via the digital touch screen.There is a one-star review , "Touch screen does not work" where the person said, "Had to aim the mirror towards the ceiling. Night vision is good but screen is bright. " Again, having bought and tried this camera, I can tell you this is a bogus review or did not even power the unit on, as you can adjust both via the digital touch screen.I will have to test the issue where someone said they had to wake the camera up if they went straight to backup.For the price point, I would say it is a pretty good deal and I would buy the same one again.Pros1. Solidly built, feels like its worth its weigh and not some cheap plastic2. Great night vision and picture quality. Very wide front camera.3. Attention to details in design like addition of USB plug so it doesn't take up the cigarette plug by itself, gives me confident that everything else was thought out4. Responsive interfaceCon1. The only thing I can think of is the visor may hit the camera poking out on the left hand side.

I have had the mirror dashcam for a bit more than two weeks. Overall, it worked very well for my purpose to capture the incident and provide the necessary evidence if needed. I upgraded from a single dashcam which records video in 1080P mode. AZDome mirror dashcam recording quality is significantly better in both daylight and night vision than what I used to have. Below are a few of additional thoughts so far –1. Installation – process is pretty straight forward but make sure you wash some Youtube video before you start installing the rear camera. My car is a Honda Odyssey and it took some creative ways to install the rear cam – I chose to mount it at the rear ceiling right before the rear window. I am pretty sure there are better ways to install it but it will take much longer for me to figure out the wiring or possible drilling to get it done.2. Video quality – superior, much better than what I used to have in both daylight and night mode. The best part is that I now have videos on both front and rear so that I have better evidence if I ever had to use these videos. It is still not possible to see other vehicle’s plate number if you are moving above 45 MPH but the plate number can be identified if you are at a lower speed and other car is about 10 ft away from your camera;3. Mirror display – the default is always on when you start the car. I usually turn the display off so that I can use the mirror in a similar way as a rear-view mirror. But the display has the capability to display front camera, rear camera or front and rear camera when you are driving. I find it’s helpful to have the display on at night because it provides better visual than my naked eyes due to the night mode of the camera.Overall, I think AZDome provides a fair balance between price point and functions. It worked real well for my purpose and I highly recommended it.

The media could not be loaded.  The best dash cam I've ever used. It all looks the same but it's not. Excellent video quality and delivers what it promises. Easy installation. GPS location by computer only.

When I saw it 1 impresión didn’t like it because I have to have the wire plug in then my husband fix it and now it’s a great deal picture quality works great 😊 I happy that I give a second chance

This mirror dash cam is a significant improvement from my old Garmin dash cam that could only record front and interior view.The camera quality is amazing and touch screen makes changing views while driving much safer and more accessible. I like the fact that it can act as a front and rear view camera - makes backing up slightly more relieving for my back. The inclusion of a 32GB microSD card is very much appreciated.My only pet peeve is that there was a lack of good instructional video for this type of dash cam. The manual was pretty helpful though, but an instructional video would be amazing.

The touch screen stopped working after a day. Had to unplug every time cause it drained my battery, had to buy a new one.I have clear windows on my vehicle and the reflection makes it hard to see the dash cam.Had to aim the mirror towards the ceiling. Night vision is good but screen is bright. Might buy a better one later on.
