this is honestly not much better than a clothing iron to use for waxing skis/boards. Best things about it are its size ( easy to move around and travel with ) and that it heats up real quick.The iron does a good job with smooth and even waxing. Cons :1- Expensive, 2- does not stand up very well and 3- the temp settings are a joke .Save your money and convert an old clothing iron.Sorry WSD... but that is my honest review.

What's to say? It's an iron made specifically to wax skis and snowboards and it worked. The low fluoro wax I used melted and didn't smoke; that's good. Even better, my ski bases didn't melt or smoke either, which is a risk you take trying to use an iron made for clothes. WSD didn't try to pick my pockets like the brand names, and freed me from paying for a tune. That's best as it leaves more funds for lift tickets.

The media could not be loaded.  What I like the most about this wax iron is it's priced competitively. It definitely gets the job done. The build quality is decent, has a good ergonomic feel to it, and very simple to use.It stands up on any of it's sides pretty well. Gets HOT FAST, also runs a bit hotter than I expected. This one is variable heat which allows for easy melting of droplets and smooth running on surface. I use this for snowboarding and it has been a great addition to my own "kit." That they sell used for just about the same price as new, speaks to the durability.

It's a special feeling you get when you use the right tool for the job. :)Waxing my snowboards with this iron has taken my skills to a new level. Now I do a couple of hot wax scrapes (to clean all dirty wax off) before I wax on lol

Really like this iron. Don't know why I didn't buy one years ago. Adjustable heat setting, nice dimples on the surface so it glides well over the ski base. Heats up fast and has nice heft to it to hold the heat. I'm sure this is just as good as a Swix or any other name brand.

Cant beat it for the price! It looks like its the same iron as others with a different logo.. Mine works great, stays hot for a good peroid of time. One click it turns right back on. Used it for a weekend with no issues.

Works really well
