Jazzy Christmas for Alto Saxophone Book/Online Audio Paperback – October 1, 2003

It has been a while since I played and I love this book. It's not too hard and not too easy. Great book to help refresh me on my alto saxophone

A few good arrangements, a few not so.

Wasn't very "Jazzy."

Preso per non suonare sempre le solite di Natale. Una bella variazione. Ottima anche l'idea degli spartiti del piano come formato elettronico su CD, non sarebbe stato male avere anche quelli per il Sax in formato elettronico.

Very disappointing ... don't buy. A big majority of songs are traditional German songs that you will never have heard of. The only one that's ok is jingle bells which you can get in other books. Don't waste your money, far better to look at Guest Spot Christmas books which are full of fun pieces you'll know. Dirko also produces other non Christmas Schott books which are brilliant and well worth buying, it's a shame he didn't sprinkle his magic over this book ... his other Christmas book Christmas Classics is also very disappointing.

What I like about this one is the fact that everything is on the CD as well, even a piano accompaniment as pdf and midi files! Pieces are easy and good for beginners. - Mir gefältt, daß die CD sogar die Klavierbegleitung as pdf und midi Dateien bereit hält. Die Stücke sind einfach und für Anfänger hilfreich.

Ich kannte das Buch schon als JAzzy Christmas für Tenor Syx. Spiele aber jetzt Alt Sax.Bin sehr begeistert und kann es jedem empfehlen, der, wie ich gerne und gut nach CD`s Notenstücke nachspielt.

Ein schönes Buch zum direkten Loslegen. Die Stücke fangen ziemlich „normal“ an und werden dann mit der Zeit immer jazziger. Eignet sich super um schnell unterm Tannenbaum gute Stimmung zu zaubern.
