This is very handy for hanging things like welding hood, jacket and adjustable wrench. Just make sure the hole in your wrench is 9/16 or larger or it won’t hang straight down

I put this on both of my MIG welders. Its a great place to switch out my ballcap and my welding helmet. Its a great idea. Glad I found it.

This is among the best $20 I spent on welding/fab shop stuff. I bought 2 of these to try. Yes, I can make something similar, but I'll have at least an hour into making each one. These plastic Hel-hooks are great. There is much less stuff sitting on top of my MIG welder now because it is on one of these hooks. The same for my cutting torch cart. The little tray on the cart isn't piled up with stuff anymore. That peace of mind was worth $40 to me. I am going to buy at least 2 more of these for my other welding machines.If you have a welding machine you can probably make of one these too. And shelves. But if you're like me you just never seem to get around to stuff like that. You're always too busy on something more urgent or something that will be making money or saving you some real money. Just buy one of these and get that stuff off the top of your welder.

It's plastic. I am sure it says so in the product description, but it sure looks like a cast aluminum piece in the pictures. Even though it's plastic, it is a great little idea, and holds my welding crap nice and tidy atop the OXY bottle, which is were I hang my hood. It allows for more stuff to by hung, cluttering up the valve/Reg area in a nice manner. It would be a great gift for the arachnophobia minded welder in your live. I little spider face drawn on the hanger with a sharpy would really bring the whole package together. Did I mention that it's plastic?

Who ever designed and made this is a genius. Really makes a convenient place to hang you hood, wrench, striker, cord... This model is made of plastic, but is pretty stout. I hung 20 feet of 6-4 SO Cord on one hook, it was straining but held. I may upgrade to the steel unit for my SO cord, but this plastic version is plenty strong for just about everything else.I will be buying more for all the 200 - 300 cf bottles in the shop ! While it did fit the 40 - 60 cf bottles, it was a bit largeOverall great product !!

I have a Miller Multimatic 220 ac/dc welder and It has the capability of holdin two tanks i.e. Ar & Co2,Ar mix. The only problem with this Helmet Hanger is it has four hooks to hang helmets from, but with my welder two of them are not useable because the Ar tank blocks two of the hooks; other than that it works fine for my selfdarkening helmet and a clear plexiglass mask used for grinding.

This plastic one is OK. Just be aware that it's a fairly light duty item. It's good for your hood, crescent wrench, panties, etc. But the steel one is good for extension cords, welding lines, vehicle alternators, etc. I have both, and I use them accordingly. Just my .3 cents.

Seems everyone is always hanging stuff off the tank anyway, this lets you hang more stuff and not on the knob of the tank or the regulator. Bought several and will buy more as needed.
