Ultra-slim Keyboard for iPad

So far, this thing seems great! It is very light and the size is perfect for slipping in along side my iPad. I can put the case strap around it and then slip both of them into the protective sleeve I use. This will be great to bring to work. I had another keyboard, one of the official ones that connects to it on the back. But taking the iPad in and out of its case was too much of a hassle. This will be much easier. I enjoy the colors and they're easy to control with no explanation needed. It connected immediately with no issue and works perfectly. I feel no lag. It feels almost too light but it's worth it for the portability. Once sitting at a desk, it won't matter much. Plus, my case seems to magnetically hold it in place which is cool and unexpected. For the price, it's a great deal.

This little keyboard has served me well. I dont have a laptop, so i use this connected to my ipad. It’s a little bit flimsy but great for the price. connects super easy and is comfortable to type on. the lights are really nice, especially for last minute essays at 2 am. the keys aren’t too loud and have a really satisfying sound to it. Ive connected this to many different devices, like my ipad and android phone and they connect seamlessly. Ive had this for over a year now and it has been through a lot of things, i threw it down the stairs like twice (dont ask lmao) and its perfectly fine, shes typed out countless last minute essays and ive only had to charge it twice (once when i got it, twice right now while writing a 3 page essay thats due tomorrow lol). Im in my last week of 9th grade and we get a lot of essays this year and i’ve used this keyboard for everything, it’s pretty small but it works really well. compatibility for many devices is great

My expectations were not particularly high...I just needed a bluetooth keyboard that I could use with my iPad when I traveled. I have been really impressed with the OMOTON. First, it's extremely light and compact. In addition, the box it comes in is barely larger than the keyboard and is made of a nice, stiff cardboard so I am keeping that to use as a travel case when I throw the keyboard in my backpack or suitcase. I figured that being so small and lightweight that I would be sacrificing the feel of the key action...I was wrong. The keys feel great and I'm easily able to type at my max ~60 word-per-minute speed. It frankly feels better than the built-in keyboards on the Dell laptops I used to use for business (I'm happily retired now). There are a couple of keys that occasionally don't "take" when I hit them but I think that is more about me hitting them too lightly than an issue with the keyboard. The auto-off function works great...I wasn't actually planning on using it but have done so "accidentally" (hey, I'm old and I forget things) and it both shuts off and resumes with ease. I should also mention that the bluetooth hookup was also quite easy. The keyboard is attractive and both looks and feels like quality hardware. I haven't used the feature but the colored backlighting on the keys is effective and attractive in all of the color choices. Overall, I have no hesitation recommending this keyboard and would readily buy it again.

I bought two of these for my kids as my old Bluetooth keyboard (also Omoton, circa 2015) was having difficulty switching between their iPads. The keyboard is very thin and light. The rubber feet are especially grippy on polished wood, no sliding around. Pairing the device was extremely easy. Click connect and select the device on the iPads Bluetooth menu. The keyboard reconnects to the iPad in approximately 1 second after powering it on. There is a good deal of flex when typing, but my kids don't type too quickly anyway. The back light is nice, but I wish there was a brightness control for it. According to the user manual the back light is quite a power hog. The internal battery is rated for 3 hours with the back light on. A non removable battery may be an issue down the road. I would have preferred AAA batteries (as in my older keyboard from this company).

This keyboard works great and connected to my kids’ iPads quickly and easily. The color-changing backlit keys are such a fun feature, and the keyboard itself feels nice to type on. Rechargeable battery is a huge plus too. Great value for the price!

I found this spiffy one for less than $15. It’s lighter and slimmer than my previous one. When I use the magnetic back that holds it to my iPad case I hardly notice the extra weight. It has a multi-colored LED backlight which makes it fun to use. Taking something out of the box, needing no instruction and having it work exactly as needed is such a joy in this day and age. And for the money, it cannot be beat.

Super cute and has Bluetooth. It can even attach to your laptop. I use it for my iPad, but wanted to see if it actually worked on my laptop and it did😁

super good for writing/work on phone or tablet, easy to connect/use. super cute with all the light settings, lasts fairly long when fully charged.

This keyboard is so useful for typing in my iPad! If you don’t want to pay $300+ for a wireless keyboard from Apple this is a great alternative. Great choice for students and if you don’t want to carry a bulky computer with you all day.

just got it today and left it plugged in to charge, and so far i love it!! I’m a fairly small person so the keys are great!!! definitely “kid friendly” and super light so i can fit it in my purse or a small backpack!!! and the lights are SO cute !!!

Cool little keyboard, easy to pair, buttons all work well, lighting is useful. CON - flimsy because of slim size, but that was expected. Recommended.

The product works great and is very light! However, there was no charging wire in the box (it said there should be in the user manual). I've contacted the manufacturer (as Amazon said to do) and received no support - so just be aware of this before buying. Edit 04/22/2024: Support did get back to me and offered me a partial refund for the missing cable. I have changed my review to 4 stars accordingly.
