I originally got the XL because I’m short and didn’t want the skirt to be too long. Once I got it, I tried to zip it up but it wouldn’t go all the way. I then purchased the XXL for the waist and it fit well. For curvier girls, depending on your comfort, I needed to wear extra shorts underneath to cover my bottom. At 5'1" at 125lbs, a large fits me perfectly.I initially ordered a small size since I have another Made By Johnny skirt in a medium that's nearly too big for me and Amazon recommended a small based on other clothes I've purchased. But it was waayyy too small for me- I couldn't pull it up past mid-thigh much less close the zipper. I returned it and instead ordered a large based on the size chart. It's great for my piecemeal Hufflepuff costume, though the zipper is a bit sticky.

I understand that the zipper is meant to not be visible without close inspection, but it's simply inoperable. It's so hard to pull up, and is impossible to fully close unless you have stick-width waist. I've hurt my finger trying to pull it up, not as badly as some previous zip up skirts but still this shouldn't happen. There's not even a clip or button to hold the top together for an easier close. The elastic bit of the band is also so tiny it's barely any helpful. The skirt is still cute and has a wonderful spin, but I wish it was easier to wear.

I read the reviews and it says to size up but you know to size up with a skirt anyways but these are true to size. I’m 5’2, 160lbs, have a butt, and got a stomach. It cover my butt very well but u will be returning and getting a XL instead of this XXL. If you want your skirt to fit a little loose this is for you.

I am size 4-6 and have an hourglass figure. I ordered Medium and it is snug at my waist (27") but I could barely pull it up my hips (37"). I am 5'6 and it is rather short too. Returning as I should have gotten a Large.Beware the white is see-through - the shorts underneath are visible in pictures. If you want a white skirt, go with something more expensive and sufficiently thick.

Picture Is my daughter who wears a 14/16 in KIDS!!! i was unable to fit it and she wanted it. It did NOT fit me. I got size XXL. I’m a size 12 in women’s. I’m 5’5 200 pounds…. This skirt barely zipped and when it did it was WAY WAY to short. It the back had my butt cheeks exposed. I would say if you are a size 10 in women’s or SMALLER. That’s the only way you will fit this skirt. As you can see…. XXL fit a child. The skirt itself is nice, however the size chart is very misleading.

I love this skirt so much! It fits great, looks great and is comfortable! It also comes with shorts attached to the inside.

I returned it because I couldn’t get the sizing right.The small was too big and the XS fit nicely around the waist except it was a little risqué because it was very shortHowever after returning it and trying different sellers I wish I kept the XS because the quality was better than other brands for the black skirt, the white wasn’t that great quality

so it’s kinda big on me and i got a small, but i like that bc i eat too much a lot and sometimes i bloat and i still had a lot of room after that lol (for reference i’m 5’4-5” and 100lbs
