Perfect for making sure you won't have an accident
I'm 48 and occasionally run into "I have to go right now" issues. And I have for years upon years. Usually happens when I'm at a festival or concert or out walking a few miles for health. In other words, the worst possible moments when facilities are way too far away to make it in time. I used to run to the nearest facilities, not always making it and ending up a bit embarrassed. So, I thought I'd try these. I put one in as directed to line my underwear. Be sure your underwear are on the tighter-fitting side for best protection. Also, I use the top 'target' mark to align it with my penis. One time I had it up a bit high and urine ran out of the bottom as the top part wasn't absorbing anything. With the pad placed lower I no longer have this issue. It can nearly hold an entire bladder full, but that varies by person. For me I release as much urine as I need to in order to feel comfortable. Then I have plenty of time to make it to a bathroom with no one the wiser. Also, they are small enough to put in a back pocket so you can have a spare... or just have one in case the urge to urinate hits and you have nowhere to immediately go. I just grab the bottom of it, leave the tape strip covers on, find a way to discreetly have my back to everyone and quickly slide it in to place, making it look like I'm adjusting my clothing. Takes a few seconds and the full panic of possibly urinating myself in public is completely gone. These have changed my life. I can go to festivals, I can sit through every song of a concert, I can go on long walks, I can enjoy historic locations and... yes... enjoy long movies where I don't want to get up and miss something. I just let out enough urine to be comfortable and keep going on with life until I get to a bathroom! Also, a fully saturated pad will still remain dry against your skin!

Size of shipping boxes and number of boxes.
Product was fine, shipping packages were to large. Sent in 2 separate boxes when total order would fit in on one box.boxes were about 3 ft long each. Packages were about 1 foot square.

A Lifesaver for My Handicapped Weiner Dog!
I purchased Depend Incontinence Guards for a rather unique reason: my handicapped weiner dog, who has no control of his bowel movements. Yes, you read that right. Finding a solution for my little buddy's "accidents" was quite the adventure, but Depend Guards came through in the most unexpected way. First off, let's talk about that super absorbent core. These things can absorb 25 times their weight in liquid and turn it into gel. Trust me, I've seen this in action more times than I care to admit. My dog can unleash a Niagara Falls-level surge, and these pads handle it like a champ. Now, you might be thinking, "But aren't these designed for men?" Yes, they are, but that cup-like shape? Turns out it's perfect for fitting snugly in my dog's little diaper. No extra bulk, no discomfort – just pure, unadulterated absorbency. Discretion? Oh, absolutely. These pads have a strong adhesive that keeps them securely in place, even on the most wiggly of weiner dogs. And each one comes individually wrapped in a pocket-sized pouch, which is a godsend when you're out and about and need to do a quick change. Comfort? My dog hasn't complained once. The liner technology wicks wetness away from his skin, keeping him dry and happy. Plus, the one-size-fits-all design means I don't have to worry about finding the right fit – it's always perfect. In summary, Depend Incontinence Guards have turned out to be the unsung heroes in our household. They're not just for men; they're for handicapped weiner dogs with a penchant for spontaneous flooding. If you find yourself in a similar situation (and let's be honest, who hasn't?), give these a try. Your dog – and your sanity – will thank you.

Depend Guard For Men: FALSE ADVERTISING - BE WARE
The rating is wrong! I rate these new Guards 0 = 0! I want to review and post this review because I opened it too late to return it. When I opened my Depend Guards Incontinence Pads recently because I USED up al my previous orders, I found Depend had CHANGED the size and shape of the PAD without advertising it had done so. The pad is 1/4 the thickness of the original pad and leaks almost instantly! It is does not absorb nearly as much urine as the former pads, and Depend did not advertise the changes made. FALSE ADVERTISING. POST THIS! I can see your concern about the Depend Guards. Looking at your order history, I notice you've ordered two different versions: Most Recent Orders (2026): • April 22, 2026: Depend Guards Maximum Absorbency, 168 Count (New ASIN: B0G6HH1T44) - Delivered April 23 • May 17, 2026: Same product - Delivered May 23 Previous Orders (2023-2026): You ordered the original version (ASIN: B087DPD3LD) multiple times from 2023 through February 2026. It appears Depend did change their product formulation - the ASIN changed from B087DPD3LD to B0G6HH1T44, which typically indicates a product change by the manufacturer.

Not as good as old version not absorbent enough
The new version of these pads are terrible. They do not absorb as much and the length is not as good as the old version. Had to switch to another brand. Really liked the old version of these pads.

My old pad!!
The old pad has been a true blessing. These are shields, not pads!! I have been using the old pads for years and they have been a true blessing. Have folks ever heard of an old saying that says, if something isn’t broken, then don’t try to fix it!! You messed up a fantastic pad for us seniors. The new ones are worthless. Bring back the old now or you’re going to lose tons of business!!!! You have now lost a customer!!!

Very large pads
These pads are very affordable compared to others that I have purchased before. However, it is quite frustrating that ALL of the makers of pads don’t tell you how much liquid they hold in ounces. Instead they just have these pee droplets symbols and they are so inconsistent. They have like 5 out of 8 droplets, 3 out of 7, and 4 out of 5 from the same company. Who came up with that idea? I just want something above a thin liner and it’s hard to figure out what I should buy. I bought these because they were listed as 5 out of 8 droplets but they are very bulky. They can probably hold a full-on accident. They are so huge that they wrap under and beyond your bits. They make things hot down there. Now I have over 100 huge pads that are oversized and going to be backups if I run out of the other way smaller but way more expensive ones that I bought before from a different brand.

Don't mess with success!
Great product but it appears to be discontinued for the moment. A least it is currently unavailable. The replacement Depends products are not as good. Don't mess with success. The company had got it right with this product but seems to be looking for ways to increase profits, decrease product quality. I don't mind if they want to introduce new products but this product you can't find anywhere. My question is why not?

Excellent product
This is the second time I buy this product for my father. He has been struggling with incontinency following a surgery, but this product helped him get back to his normal life. It doesn't leak even when sitting with the pad on, let alone when walking or during daily activities. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs it.
