Love these mini palm trees. They are not tall, so if you are looking for height, then these are not the right choice. As mentioned in other reviews, the base of these plants is hollow but my solution is to slide them over a bottle for more stability. There is no plastic smell and the fronds stay where placed. Over all, they look fantastic and give off the tropical vibe I was searching for. I am happy with my purchase and plan to buy more for my other planters. However, only time will tell how well they will hold up against the sun/UV rays during the summer.

I bought a few of these as decorations for my Greek tortoise indoor winter enclosure. They are just the right size. Only issue is they are hollow and are easily knocked over. I have had to screw them to the sides where they actually look pretty good.

Very pleased with this imitation palm. (The cat chewed up the real palm we had!) I really like the size of it. Not too big. Just right for my shelf.

Outdoors! It is rather skimpy, way expensive for the little bit of foliage!

This looks so good, I ordered 3 more! My plan is to stick a rod in the ground, place foam slathered with adhesive over the rod, then slide the hollow trunks over that. Next is to find some solar light strings to glue under the fronds to add nighttime accent lighting. It should look great when I'm done. The trunk really makes these look natural from 3 feet away, if you couldn't see where the fronds connects to the trunk it would be hard to tell at all until you touched it.PACKAGING AND PRIMPING It comes in a zipper reusable bag, flattened but not crushed. It took 5 minutes or less to lightly arch the fronds. TRUNKIs hollow, textured and painted plastic. It's thick and rigid enough, I cannot collapse it in my hand.FRONDS These are made of some type of woven plastic. The tops have a natural looking print with a waxy finish. The lower fronds are darker and the upper are a lighter green. It has a single new growth chute coming out of the top center. Each frond including the chute, have a encased wire extending from the trunk to the tip just before the leaves. So you can arch the entire frond.OVERALL THOUGHTS I'm pleased with them and if they last as long as claimed in the outdoors I will order more.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!
