A little fiddly due to their small size, but they work great!
I was a little hesitant to order these based on some of the reviews indicating the products simply don't work or are unreliable. While I found the clasps a little fiddly (mainly because they are pretty tiny) and the lack of instructions an extremely minor setback, simply examining the photos of the product on the store page, it's pretty easy to figure out. I slid the light strip into the connector with the tape backing intact to make it easier to slide in and applies a little more pressure to the contacts. After I have them in place and locked down, I (very lightly) score the tape backing with my knife and tear the backing off of the light strip to adhere to my surface. The connectors work great and don't seem to be unreliable at all. No flickering, no reduction in brightness, just a great right-angle connector.

Excellent.
Very good product.

Works, easy to use, a little small though.
First, these work, and they work great. The only thing that I found was that they were consistently a little too small for my LED strips, so I had to put more effort into finding a way to jam them in. Besides that though, I currently haven't found a better solution on Amazon, so this works fine.

although they work better, but who wants wires hanging in their pool
I was very frustrated with these at first as cutting the light strip on the line they tell you between the two sets of round gold conductors makes these connectors flicker and lose connection. I am using them around my pool and using the wire connectors is not an option, although they work better, but who wants wires hanging in their pool. THE SECRET: After needing to install more sets of lights and dealing with flickering lights already installed, I came to the conclusion if I cut before the two sets of conductors and NOT on the line, I had a better quality connection. The reason being is that the clamps grip the one set of conductors (make sure you wipe off the silicon on the light strip and cut just enough of the plastic housing to slide the strip UNDER the wire contacts) and the two teeth to hold the wire strip in place gives it another solid connection with the other set of round gold conductors. This sounds complicated, but it is not. Just use both sets of contacts and not just one on each side of the connector. I am going to redo the other connectors by cutting further back like I stated and I think that will fix the problem with the flickering from the first set I installed. Bottom line: If you cut on the light strip line where they tell you, you will be disappointed with the connectors.

Ensure that the "pins" align with the "pads"
The spacing of the pins in the connector is not an exact match for the contact pads on the LED strip, be sure they are properly aligned. See photo.Reducing to 3-stars after 4 months of use. Although I was careful to align the pins in the connector with the contact pads on the light-strip, after a few months the lights would occasionally flicker, Recently it got to the point where the lights would not always turn on when power was applied without pressing/squeezing the connector. I finally gave up and soldered the light-strip into the connector. Works great, but not "convenient".

Works beautifully - but be sure to install correctly
These are a nice, small, unobtrusive size that fill well in the narrow spaces where I installed LED strips. Overall 5 stars for function and size. They are slightly difficult to open, you may find that a tiny screwdriver helps pry (carefully!) the flap open. The big warning is to be sure an get the LED strip inserted correctly. If your LED strip has adhesive on the back, either (1) leave the paper backing in place before connecting this or (2) remove the adhesive from the end going into the connector or (3) cover the exposed adhesive with something like a tiny square of cellophane tape. Then, be sure to carefully slide the strip UNDER the tiny tabs at the edge of the connector -- before sliding the strip further under the metal conductors - see the area circled in red on my attached photo. Push the strip fully home before snapping down the cover - and you'll get a nice firm connection that stays put.

Doesn't work as described in product description
Product is deceptive, only one (1) side of the split works. Contacts appear to be missing at the connection point on the left side of the split.
