Robertsons Barbecue Spice

Really pleased with this - works perfectly for connecting my HTC Desire to the front output socket on my mini stereo. This was the only cable I found which was this short, which is just what I needed - don't want acres of cable when the phone just needs to sit in front of the stereo! I've enjoyed listening to hours of podcasts in high quality sound - haven't really used it for music, but imagine it would be fine too.

Cheap and fast delivery. Only used it once as only purchased for occasional use but does the job, no problems.

I was trying for ages to find a 3.5mm jack to jack cable. Sure there are plenty around but they all come with really chunky plug shells (the plastic bit that sticks out of the socket), especially, the more expensive ones like Belkin et al. I wanted something with the mini headset style plug shell, and here is the only product I found from weeks of scouring electical and electronic shops and the internet. It does the job perfectly.

This was the only cable i could find that was 50cm in length (which is perfect for me) and it offers great sound quality. Well worth the price as I noticed little/no loss in quality compared to an expensive cable i had that did the same job (was too long for me).

Order this item online on the 15th dec 2010, was emailed to say it had been dispatched on 18th dec 2010. monies have been taken from my account and still not received the items...... beginning to wonder if it actually exsists.... was told est delivery date was 29th dec 2010 i understand that there has been a back log of deliveries in scotland due to the adverse weather we have had in november and december 2010, BUT c'mon this is madness...... I have ordered items at the same time and after this order was placed and they have arrived nae botha??!!

I guess I should have measured how much lead I needed as it is a stretch from the radio in the car to my MP3 player. Apart from that it is fine

I am unimpressed with the quality of this item, I am aware it was a cheap cable and you get what you pay for however I would've liked it last maybe a little longer than 2 weeks before both ends of the cable snapped at the connection to the jack! I was using this in my car for my iPod connection so the cable rarely moved, I certainly did not give it any rough or inappropriate treatment anyway! A Poor product hopefully tohers will learn from my mistake. :)

Most cables have a rather large plastic moulding around the connector and will not fit properly on some devices. This cable has a very slim profile and fits perfectly on my iPhone4 with protective bumper/jacket. It is a little short but adequate for my needs. The sound quality is also very good without the dreaded cracks and pops you often hear with cheap cables.
