Nice quality
Finally used it for the first time in the photo booth. Ran beautifully, and good quality photos as well. I see this has gone down slin price since I've purchased it almost a year ago.

Amazing printer but not good for anything more than a few photos at a time
The media could not be loaded. Update. I managed to build a home-brewed solution to keep the photos in order. However, recently the printer stopped working because I upgraded Mac OS. HITI didn't have a timeline on when the driver would be fixed as it appears it was out of their hands. This, plus recent advice to switch printers, had me pick up a Fuji DX100. The print quality between the Fuji and HITI is night and day. The Fuji prints appear much more vivid. They're also not warped like the HITI prints. There's still the issue of photos coming off the bin and not falling in order. The HITI is a great starter printer for smaller jobs but if you're doing large batches of prints, the Fuji is the way to go if you can afford it.These printers are incredible. What could only be done at a photo lab 10-15 years ago can now be done with a $400 printer for $0.10 a print. It's a great example Moore's Law in action.I was hoping to buy 10-15 of these to do fulfillment on about 15,000 photos per month to be mailed to hundreds of customers.Unfortunately, after testing, it looks like the printer fails to keep the photos in the order they're printed. HITI sells a bin accessory to catch the photos but even with that, the photos don't come out the printer in the correct order. I uploaded the attached video in high speed where you can see this in action. This printer is amazing for events where you're only printing a couple photos at a time, but wouldn't work well for a professional photographer or someone who is printing multiple customer orders at once.

Good prints, noisy printer wouldn't buy again
It took a while before I was able to unbox and test this printer. When I finally did I found this spring in this location when I opened it with no explanation of what it is, where it goes or what it does. I was able to get the media installed properly after watching a YouTube video. I printed about 6 test photos and found this unit is extremely loud and pops and knocks while printing, almost like it is going to break every time it prints. While the prints are good quality the sound and noise this printer makes I wish I would have bought a different product.

Not recommend it
They build a good printer, but without print catcher paper tray. I have to stand next to the printer. Wait for each print comes out, then pick up one by one print to keep all prints in order.

Exelcent printer with a few short comings
I love film and decided I would open my own lab. I searched for the best budget dry lab printer aka Dye Sub. I have it connected to a windows 7 computer and it works perfectly and in this environment it was super easy to setup. The pictures are crisp is look professional. However the matte finish is applied to the print at the end and is not the same quality matte finish you would get from a $50,000 professional lab printer. I am a certified computer tech and I can't figure out how to get this to print wirelessly from my cell phone. The directions are as clear as mud. Also there is no Ethernet port on this or any Hiti printer.Bottom line, if your using this with a windows computer than its a 5 star printer. If your planing to use it with a tablet, the best of luck to you as there is no built in wifi, no Ethernet and the NFC only seem to work in conjunction with the Wifi which requires an extra adapter but they don't tell you which one. Oh the printer is also loud like a 1980's xerox copy machine going full steam ahead. If your on a tight budget and using Windows I recommend this printer. If your using android you might want to look elsewhere.

Quick and easy to setup
Just finished an event and everyone was so happy with their pictures coming out so fast and the picture quality. A must have especially if you are planning to have a photo booth business. It works really well with Windows 10.

Good and not good ;-|
Cons:Needed repair. Straight line through every print. Took for repair, they fixed it free. After repair, now the unit had 2 thin marks on the left side of every picture. sometimes inked, sometimes in white. Called and emailed again for service, No response. For now I continue to use the unit. For our purposes, we only need the speed, so it works well. We can live with the marks for now. If we were doing professional prints, that obviously wouldn't fly. For the price of ink and paper, it is way more efficient than inkjet and laser. So I recommend this dye printers over inkjet and lasers.

Beware! Software sucks!
Check the app store reviews before buying this printer. I've used its buggy software now for a year, and finally, it just doesn't seem to work on any mobile device anymore. The manufacturer hasn't updated the software in over a year and now it doesn't work at all. That's the mobile side. So I switched to using this printer directly connected to my mac, and it allows me to print ONE photo then stops (I have to unplug and replug the USB for EVERY photo). So this printer is pretty useless now. Real bummer because the hardware and quality of the prints are just fine.FIX YOUR SOFTWARE HITI
