Reset your thoughts with Magic Mindset
This book came at just the right time in my life. It has shown me a path which if taken can bring me that mental peace and well being that I have been looking for. Preeti Shenoy has done a wonderful job at helping the readers find the magical mindset. She has used real life examples to explain situations and then given simple solutions to overcome these challenges. She has also given space for the readers to write about their feelings when they were faced with certain situations. I think this is not a book that can be read just one time and then placed on the shelf. This is a book that needs to be revisited time and again.

One of the best self help books!!Worth Reading!!
#themagicmindset - One of the best self help books I have read so far, which focuses on the overall wellness of a person.Preeti Shenoygives some interesting tips about how to reduce our expenses.Instead of swiping cards, we can buy through hot cash.It would reduce unnecessary spendings. If you want to buy some items, just write it down and wait for another 30 days.If you still have that urge to buy , you can proceed buying it.In this lockdown many of them have lost their jobs and the writer gives some useful tips to convert our interesting hobbies into an occupation.A senior citizen in Kerala planted Marigold flowers in his barren land. Now he earns a whopping amount of 35000 Rs per month.A senior citizen who owns a travel agency, launched a cloud kitchen in this lockdown and it became very popular.Corona has taught as an important lesson to take utmost care of our health, which we taken it granted for several years. The writer recommends to indulge us in any form of physical activity. Moreover the physical activity should be an enjoyable one.Instead of telling no, we tell 'Yes' and we easily get trapped into a problem. The writer gives insights on how to say No without hurting others.I would assure that this would be best part of the book as everyone could associate with this trait. The writer gives interesting tips to avoid the unwanted fear while preparing for exams or interviews. Some past memories would haunt us.The book gives an applicable solution to avoid such intimidating memories. The writer also gives insights on how to avoid tiffs in a relationship. If your partner is in a bad mood, keep quiet. This would definitely be a thumb rule for every relationship. Many of us undergo breakups and the book gives useful advice to come out of the traumatic breakup. When the situation is not under our control, how to remain sane - the much needed topic is addressed very meticulously in this book.On the whole, this book gives the overwhelming positivity amidst the corona crisis.

A nice, sweet book
It was a sweet and nice book, overall. Though I didn't agree with everything she said (for example, I don't really see the value of writing everything down, but it has to be said that I didn't actually try this), and I would have preferred it if she referenced Western books a little less, it was still a nice, comforting read. Reading this book, simple though the advice is, might act as a balm for all of us having to tackle a trying real life and world, as we all have to. Mrs. Shenoy peppers the text with anecdotes from her own life which were fun to read. I might try another book of hers sometime.

You need a magic Mindset to go on.
THE MAGIC MINDSET By @preeti.shenoy is a collection of different mindsets according to the circumstances. It has touched each and every aspect of life and has a positive vibe of its own. When I first held the book I just knew I was going to be happiest after reading it and it was quite true. In the introductory part when the author says that you should not read it like a novel, I kept it slow. It almost took me a week to finish it, not because I was slow but because I wanted to go slow. And honestly I am very much happy to share my experiences with the book. Everything she writes in the book it's so relatable that I actually started doing it already. The exercises in between the chapters made me think for a while and answer them. The activities she suggests are actually very easy and doable. I have also so shared some of the the pictures of the exercises I have done but some of our really personal so I did not share it. And the 14-days challenge is the most interesting one. I am starting with the day-1 challenge today itself and I will be e sharing about my feelings and experiences during these 14 days. I am quite contented after reading the Magic Mindset. I am not being biased here just because Preeti Shenoy is my favourite but I genuinely love this piece of work.

Loved it!!!♥️💙
I am just done with this incredible read!!!💙 "Magic Mindset" not only gives the theoretical part to have a positive mindset, it gives practical ideas where we can apply them in our daily routine & practice having positive vibes each and everyday in our life!!!At the age of 26 I am a very positive person & have always tried myself to see the bright part of every situation that has come in my life!!! I followed each & every exercise given at the end of every chapter!!! But the 14 day activity challenge proved me that I am on the right path since last 3 years. Because, from past 3 years when I discovered to spread positive vibes & feel good about myself I started & already been doing WEEK 1 - Activity 2,3,4,6 & 7... WEEK 2 - Activity 1,2,3 & 6 most of the days in my since I was 23 & till date... And after it's proved through this book that I am on the right path... I would like to follow all the activities mentioned in the book & stick to it throughout my life!!!!!

A Perfect Guide For Achieving Wellness in a Hardscrabble World
Even though the lady who wrote this book lives in India, she's so wonderfully Western in viewpoint as suggested by the wise quote she's chooses to begin her 9th chapter:"When something bad happens, you have three choices -- let it define you, destroy you or strengthen you.-- ZombielandThere are other exceptionally appropriate quotes always very germane to the conversation.Preeti Shenoy introduces Magic Mindset with her own experience over the last two years of a really "bad" thing; the pandemic. And even now the recent occurrence of a continuing military catastrophe that ominously could culminate in World War III, makes it even more necessary to structure the conduct of one's individual life towards survival and meaningful living in an increasingly crazy and difficult world.Though Shenoy is a successful author with excellent social media presence in India, mostly Western (and Indian) worries thread their way through her concerns and practical remedies tailored to an individual and diverse world readership. She seamlessly reveals South Asian and Western life challenges as not being so very different from one another and her very practical remedies have universal application. You may wonder how practical solutions of the mind can possibly bring a seemingly somewhat more pathologically tilted world back to sanity. Perhaps Shenoy's writing is a form of conceptual probiotics where the good bacteria outpopulates or outcreates the bad. Enough survival behavior of a multitude of good minds, can help cast aside the shrewd manipulative aberrant unwise behavior of some. This book is golden. It steathfully and skillfully outlines how anyone can actively restructure how they feel, how they think and how they act to transcend any problems and live a meaningful life despite the sometimes crazy situations that can and do arise in life. This reads like a kind of practical spiritual guide for a good minded person or just anyone who might feel they need to sort some things out to have a better go at making their life happy. One does not know quite what to make of the mind fully assembled out of the box at birth ready for its ascent into full operational capacity after a person's first breath (or even way before that as some people believe).Shenoy seems like the mythical yet real incredibly intelligent South Asian auntie guru who carefully looks over her family, then looks over everyone in India, then looks over everyone in the world. Which illustrates how we, in the Western world, can be gifted with practical written wisdom from India so much moreso than any average ordinary American might ever imagine possible. This might seem an extravagant observation except that there is precursor hint of this journey earlier in her life: "It turned out working at the school was the best experience I ever had. . . there would be an army of small children that poured in yelling in delight, 'Preeti aunty, Preeti aunty!' I had to hug each one of them before I entered the classroom."And what is the world, if not a huge, natural classroom environment for all the diverse, different forms of life including all humans. My favorite is the interesting concept of what one can do if only able to see it clearly in one's mind [individually in what anyone sees in their mind].She's does this continually concerning many aspects of life; money, relationships, situations beyond our control, good health, nutrition, dealing with other peoples actions and even in how to say no.Readers write down what they have experienced concerning Shenoy's questions that allow them to look at their situations and the difficulties they have encountered or encounter daily from personal subjective viewpoint with all the anger, fear, sadness and humilation released. Then go back and look again from an unbiased somewhat detached perspective and take or not take the best practical actions.Personally I have figured out practical action to take concerning obstacles I'm having to face and irritating things that keep me from being at my best. Plus much bigger stuff that could cause one to feel stumped, stopped or slowly or rapidly slipping towards oblivion. So getting this book and implementing the advice as it individually or specifically relates, gifts us with what might be one of the best things one could do for oneself. In Magic Mindset, a very wise auntie named Preeti is perhaps just a slightly remote perfect family relative you never thought you might ever have, who happens to live, write and coach from India.
