The probe end of the pH tester needs to be protected when not in use. This stuff is what's use the store the probe in.

How long does a 100ml bottle last, if using the probe once a day?

As long as the cap has solution in it (glass bulb is immersed) when stored, then it should last at least a year. You may need to top it up from time to time, but you shouldn't be rinsing or tipping the contents of the cap out on each use.

it helps in keeping the the test probe from drying out .i highly recommend it been using the same blue lab ph pen for over a year and id like to think its from storing it properly. blue lab is the way to go
