the top is a thin and even if you add pasties it will still be shown so a white bra will do the job. the skirt is a good material its not thin its more like a men's flannel tee texture and the skirt doesn't look cheap, But there is a smell but one wash and it was gone, and the ruffles on the skirt is so cute, when i washed the top and the skirt i did it by hand and i noticed some thread showing up here and there so i washed it more gently so i wont take off the lace but anyways a very gentle wash will do the job and the skirt didn't bleed any red color but i still washed the white top separately and yes the skirt is short and if you like the booty a little out then stay will you're same size you can always bring the skirt higher but if you're chunky like me and thought the top was going to be more like a cropped top to cover any muffin top from the skirt but its an actual micro top about the same length of a bralette with the 2 inch lace but like i said you can rise the skirt to cover more tummy but if you don't wanna show a lot of booty then up size but if you want booty shown go for your size

The top seems a little out of whack meaning the seems somehow do not align. And it fits uncomfortably. I ordered 2 different sizes and will see if both are the same. Received only one for now.
