Fujitsu 5661746 Scanner Cleaning Solution

I got this after reading online that it’s a good way to clean my Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner. It did the trick and cleared the error message I was getting! It’s a little spendy, but this is a large volume of solution, and saving my scanner is worth the cost IMO.

This stuff works. It removes lines from the images created by scanner and also works on printer. A little on the expensive side but with the cost of equipment it pays to be safe. You don't need to use it that often. I also use it to moisten the wipes provided by same company when they dry out.

I was getting a vertical line while scanning my documents. As soon as I used the Fujitsu Cleaner FI is removed the vertical line at once. I sprayed twice into a lint free cloth and looked for a dark spot on the lens inside the scanner. I then scrubbed it gently and then gave one last cleaning just wiping it once from one side to the other side of the lens. I let it dry for one minute and then closed the scanner and that was it.
