Does this use the 1512-size filter as hinted at by the cross-listing?

I don't think so. The 150 is a brand new air purifier from Coway. Their product department states the filter replacements for the 150 purifier will available soon.

Does this come with a hepa filter because in the picture it's only showing the mesh filter that they pull up

Yes, there are two replaceable filters. One HEPA and one foam odor. Technically there is a screen in the part that you pull up that is in front of it all to help catch larger stuff like dust bunnies.

does it need unobstructed space around it? Can it be hung on wall

The front of the unit sucks in the air, the cleansed air comes out the top. The back is one solid piece. You can't "mount" it on a wall but you could put it on a shelf, back to the wall.
