K143 Craftool� Stamp 66143-00

I used this stamp to decorate the cigarette/lighter case I made for my dad for Father's Day (beekeeping is a family hobby but sadly I'm allergic). It was challenging to get lined up perfectly as it makes shallow impressions in the leather I was using but it looks great with a small honey-bee stamp I have. I am still very much a novice in leathercraft but so far I can tell a big difference in the quality of stamps when I get something from Tandy or Weaver vs. my generic starter set of stamps that have metal chipping off the handle already. If you're ready to make an investment in your leathercraft tools and you like the honeycomb pattern, this is an excellent choice.

No issues with the tool at all. It feels heavy duty and makes some nice impressions. We have been able to incorporate this design in multiple pieces different ways. Of course you want to line it up carefully but that’s because it leaves a nice crisp line edge. Highly recomnmend

Great product would do again

This tool was the best item to make a honeycomb look on cookies. A friend had a baby shower themed with bees, flowers,honeycombs, bee hives. My job was to make cookies. I needed one to look like honey comb. I ordered the tool for that purpose. Picture shows what iced cookie basically looked like using that took. Made that job of honeycomb cookies a breeze to decorate

It can be tough to get a good impression in the middle. Just experiment with the dampness of the leather and carefully tapping the tool a couple times. I usually get one good impression started, then use it to align the tool with some overlap for the rest of the pattern, which makes getting an even pattern easier and faster as it kind of wants to fall in the grooves of the last stamp. You could try heating the tool a little as well.

This is a very heavy duty well-made product with a great amount of detail. It is an excellent tool and I will be ordering more lack or similar products from this company
