Kizer Genie EDC Knife, Black N690 Steel Reverse Tanto Blade, Black Micarta Folding Knife, V4545E1

This is all around a great knife. It has great ergonomics and fits the hand great. It was absolutely razor sharp out of the box and could shave hair and slice through paper cleanly. The actual design is really clean and tactical looking. It’s made from a good steel and the action is beautiful. You can flick it out effortlessly and it’s so smooth. Kinda addicting as a fidget knife. Very low profile and is one of the lightest knifes I have ever owned. The micarda handle is quite nice too. It absorbs oils and will wear in very nice. All around a 10/10 especially considering the price.

This is my first front flipper and also my first Kizer knife. I'm impressed. It feels a bit delicate but I've already dropped it twice on concrete and it didn't ruin it. I just can't put the thing down. I have XL hands and it's still pretty comfortable in my hand.Will definitely be buying more Kizers and Mojave Outdoors shipped it out pretty fast. Much appreciated!

I've heard mixed things about Kizer in general but really liked the look of this piece so decided to pick it up. I'm very impressed with the quality for the price. The grip is comfortable and the micarta gives it good texture. The blade shape is excellent and slicey and didn't need any sharpening out of the box, which is something I find rare even on much more expensive knives. The action is very smooth and the detent is perfect. It's very easy to thumb flick, reverse flick, and front flip. The lock up is excellent with no blade play in any direction. The whole thing is very slim and fits easily into any pocket.There are only a few minor negatives I've noticed. The pocket clip could be better but is pretty standard for the price point. The pivot is a T8 but the body screws are T6. Would have liked to see all T8. I also would've liked a slightly larger finger choil and some jimping on the back of the blade so I could choke up a bit more.Overall, just an excellent decently sized pocket knife. Good design, good materials, good execution. Definitely recommend.

I love the knife, lightweight and beautiful. Unfortunately, there is no metal liner under the Micarta, so knife pivot oil is absorbed by the Micarta, making it look very oily & dark. There is no way to remove the oil. Very poor design, not acceptable.

Super sharp great EDC use it daily at work cutting bands on pallets and twine. I switch out my carry every few weeks but this one is in top 10 I own.

If you're looking for a light EDC that is compact. I think this is one of the best ones out there for the dollar.

I would like it better if the blade was stonewashed. The finish on the blade will show scratches too soon, stonewash is more resilient. The Micarta is very nice, but my preference is to have a smoother finish on the scales. the size and weight are very good for pocket carry and being a top flipper makes it more streamlined than one with multiple opening modes. The slim profile and light weight make this a great pocket carry knife with or without a pocket clip.
