I bought this to help my daughter with softball, to keep her up to date with the rest of the girls (she is usually the youngest and smallest on the team). This has been amazing for her. My husband is able to adjust the ball to teach her the different types of throws so she knows about where it will be coming at her and know where to swing the bat! If you have a child struggling with baseball/softball or just want to keep up with their skills.. THIS IS THE ITEM FOR YOU!!!

What an awesome product. When this arrived we took it out and immediately started hitting, as pointed out in several other reviews it has many positive attributes.1) My favorite thing may be being able to access my kid's swing without worrying about taking a line drive to the face.2) It offers immediate feedback as to what type of hit it would be, there is a distinctive sound when you get a good hit and a little hit. You can get and idea of of pop up or dribbler.3) The sound it produces is a great confidence booster to help younger players improve the mental aspect of their game....which can be as important as the physical aspects to some kids.4) You really have the ability to view every aspect of a kid's swing, including the set up at a close range to make sure they are starting correctly to begin with.5) It is comfortable to use and has two sized balls for baseball or softball. We are using the softball now but will switch to the baseball as our daughter gets better hand-eye cordination.6) It's FUN! I had three kids at my house yesterday and they couldn't wait to hit it.It seems like it will be very durable too, well made. We have already noticed a huge improvement in our daughter's swing and hitting the ball really well. We plan to pair this with the Zip N' Hit pro too to help with moving balls. We don't have any cages near us so we are trying to supplement at home as much as we can.

Was coaching a baseball team and softball team this past fall and was looking to add a little equipment that would be useful for my own kids plus help with the teams, and this was a worthwhile addition. At practices, this was a great addition to hitting stations - could have a kid hitting off the stick, one on the tee, and one hitting wiffles or something similar. Great for having a rotation. Then at games, this was great to bring along to give each of the kids some swings before their first at bat of the game, to get them warmed up and their confidence a little boost. Have only used one two-team season, but so far it looks like it will handle the wear and tear well.

Works great for a Little League team of 1st and 2nd graders. Very good training device. I have a family member in a wheelchair and she is able to hold this and interact with the children. I gave it 4 stars because the vibration is not dampened by anything. I will be adding a piece of foam to the handle to hopefully alleviate that. And the best thing is not having to chase foul balls under cars or into backyards! :)

I used this with my son's little league team. With some of the boys who were not hitting anything (even coach pitch), there was immediate improvement after using this for as little as five minutes.I found some of the boys (including my son) were swinging just below this trainer every time, even when I wasn't moving it. Just above belt high, and they whiffed, over and over. They were swinging in the same place every time, but their brain was sending their hands to the wrong place. That explained some of their strikeouts. I was able to help them reprogram their eye-hand coordination and swing a little higher. I think it really helped a lot.It also works well as a warm up tool, either pregame or pre-at bat. You can practice high swings, low swings, inside/outside, etc. It allows the kids to focus on a target and get the positive feedback of clobbering something, not just idly swinging a bat around.And no balls to shag, can be used almost anywhere, etc.

I ordered this after seeing the opposing team use it at one of my daughter’s softball games. It really does help them get some batting practice in when you can’t have the whole field. And having the baseball T one end, works out for my son who is starting baseball in the spring. We can use it in our backyard, and use it on the field during team practices.

Purchased for my daughter in her 1st season of little league. Excellent aid to work on contact, form, positioning, and hand-eye coordination. Immediate results!

I love this! It's an awesome training device for a baseball beginner. I love that I am able to help my son practice. I have no baseball skill and am afraid of throwing the ball to him. I'd probably end up hitting him. This hitting stick is perfect for both of us. I don't have to pitch a ball to him. I can just hold out the stick or swing it towards him a little and he's able to practice his swing. The stick has two ends with different sized balls. It also has a safety band for your wrist which is nice. I have a feeling I'll be able to use this for multiple baseball seasons to come.
