My grandson and I are using this kit to make Christmas presents for him to give. It's very easy to follow the directions and make beautiful soaps! And it's not long or complicated---just right for an 8 year old attention span. I am enjoying this as much as he is! The included scents are wonderful and the primary colors can be mixed to make tertiary colors.We made pink cherry blossom 🌸 soaps first, using half a bar of soap base (two bars are included). Next we'll make lavender soaps with lavender scent, and drop some dried lavender blooms in (sold separately).We didn't have any problems with the included molds, but I read reviews about them being cracked so I ordered some pink silicone molds just in case. We didn't need them, but it's nice to have a wider variety. The included molds contain 10 different shapes already, though, so you don't need to have more.

This is so easy to use! The scents it came with smell great! The molds are a little difficult to get the soap out of, I popped them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. The soap came out a little easier afterwards.
