Easy to install and works great
I ordered a used package. I got luckily, items were not opened, just that the box had some damage and hence previous wonder returned it.Setting up was very easy using the BILT app tutorial.Make sure you lay all your parts out before you begin. Saves you the anxiety later on.Garage door opener works very well nicely and is silent and smooth.

Love this new opener
My husband bought this garage door opener because our last one stopped working. He was able to swap them out very easily. The quality is great. It seems very durable. The open and close button sometimes has to be pushed twice I don't know where the connectivity problem is, but it's not a big deal at all it doesn't really affect the fact that it opens smoothly. Bright lights, perfect fit. It looks nice and is pretty quiet.

I LOVE this and I chose it over the 4K+ reviews for the Genie.
Honestly, I am beyond thrilled with this opener. I was able to find an HONEST person to install it that did not want to overcharge me to tighten the springs, tell me they needed replacing, (they are only 9 months old) or tell me I needed a 'tune-up' Keep quiet and listen to your installer. This way you can weed out the ones trying to rip you off.The opener is QUIET. I transitioned from a louder chain driven opener. I love that I have more options, and they work too. Dogs never bark at the opener anymore. It's too quiet I suppose so they don't notice it. Because they no longer bark, I am no longer yelling at them to stop barking. The house is definitely more peaceful. The keypad does not have the same issue when hitting the * or # key that you have to reprogram it like their click2 version does. I love that this has a battery backup for when the summer storms are here and we get power outages. I wish Chamberlain had added Alexa to this, but there are workarounds you can find online if you need this to work with Alexa. If there are any issues with this, I will update. For some reason, installers like to install Chamberlain over Genie from what they have said.I ordered the version that uses the DC motor, has the battery back up, and 1 overhead light. The other version in this listing uses an AC motor and does NOT have the battery back up and has 2 overhead lights. Both systems are belt driven. DC motors use less energy so I suppose that is the reason it can even have a battery backup. The battery can by replaced easily when needed and it's only $30, sold BY Amazon, compared to $100 if you were considering Genie's GDO with their battery backup. The maintenance is much less here with the Chamberlain. After having this installed a few weeks ago, I really do not have a desire to have this connected to Alexa. I have a standard 2 car garage with 1 very heavy metal Clopay door. Works great! I had zero issues connecting this to my wifi and iphone. I get notifications every time it opens/closes and I have used the app to close the door instead of bothering my neighbors to check for me if I forgot. Lifesaver. When the summer storms roll around and the power goes out, I will not be left sitting in my car locked in or out of the house. My garage is the only door we use to enter and exit. The front door is only used to get Amazon deliveries off the porch.

Easy install/old remotes wont pair with it
Easy install. It works great. We got this as a replacement for an old opener. Compared to the new unit, the old unit was built with superior materials and craftmanship (meant to last longer...it lasted us almost 18 years before the motor died)We have not been able to get any of our previous remotes to pair to it. We have lift master remotes, a chamberlin key ring remote, and a lift master compact key ring remote. A few of the remotes are older so we guessed it had to do with outdated technology. The 2 key ring remotes are less than 5 years old, so them not pairing was disappointing. Keep in mind that if you want more than the 2 pre-programmed remotes you will have that expense too.

Great upgrade for your garage and security.
Had one of these at my last house….had to get one at my new (60’s ranch) house. Not tough to install if you have a little DIY in your blood. Setup and use is easy and now that I’ve been using this one for almost 2 years…it’s rock solid so far. So nice being able to open or close remotely AND to know when Amazon delivers to the garage.

Really impressive opener with lots of useful features
Really am enjoying this new opener - especially how quiet it operates. Costs more than chain drive - but totally worth the extra cost considering it could last 10 years (if the belt holds up). Also like the slow-down movement at the end of the open or close cycle. That's very nice. Installation is straight forward with no major challenges. It just takes time to assemble and fine tune everything, but it can actually be installed with no other help. Just needed a ladder to hold the motor while the track was pinned in place. Remote openers work right off the bat - no programming other than to put a code in the outside remote. Cannot get the phone app to work because it forces me to put my mesh router into pairing mode and I don't want to mess with that since other devices are connected already. Why does it need pairing mode? It sees my network, I enter the password, that's it. Connect already! The feature is supposed to be nice for deliveries but nobody is coming in my garage when I'm away so the feature is useless to me. Conclusion - belt drive is the only way to go!

Sent a broken wall switch, the app doesn't work, garbage
Instructions were incorrect on how to train the door opener to save the high /low settings Also the wall mounted switch does not work, no light ever came on and it didn't make the garage door opener click to find/program it, and to add insult to injury the app has some errors that it can't connect to my 3, yes 3, internet networks..updated app, reset the garage door opener by power cycling it...nothing. I do get Error Code: -9 , device is not in the provisioners mode...so no wall switch, a failed app, so I guess I need to carry my car remote control around with me on the house to get the door opened or closed. Pretty much junk at a higher price then other good, WORKING, systems out there that do t send broken parts and have an app that is broken for weeks at a time. Pretty disappointed in this
