Great call!

Paid $25 for this call or something like that. Had to send back to Amazon. Couldn’t Cajun squeal for its life- if you want to do that buy an echo timber in single reed you won’t regret it. Call arrived so I immediately started blowing it around the house. First off, the call had sharp plastic burrs at the mouthpiece, and a really awful smell. I made it a point to brush my teeth and have others smell/ use the call. Smelled like molded Parmesan cheese! Lol. Lastly, it is the easiest call to over blow (maybe because of the small bore diameter) this was my first Haydell’s call so I cannot speak for the others, but I don’t think I would give this call to a beginner to learn on.

This call and what its based on goes back generations in southern louisiana. I'll take time honored tradition and proven results over a fancy barrel with its own twitter page.

Not sure why they claim it produces the squeal vs any other call. I am learning how to produce this sound, but have made it easier on other calls. HOWEVER, it is a great call overall, for anyone. I would buy it again!

Bought it based on the reviews of "tradition" and it's name. Well guess what. It is by far the worst sounding call I have ever heard. I can blow a much better cajun squeal with my other 2 calls. (Which one is a zink and the other an echo). I thought this call would allow me to blow the higher pitch call easier and more effectively. It seriously sounds like rattling plastic in a bucket. A very poorly made call. Maybe 2 dollars worth of materials to make. Not much craftsmanship involved. Stick to another name bc these guys aren't helping theirs.

I’d buy this thing instantly if it didn’t say fishing lure on the end, what are y’all thinking.
