Case for iPad 9.7 6th Generation / 5th Generation, ShockWave Heavy Duty Rugged Case with Screen Protector and Removable Kickstand, Black

Excellent product. It provides confidence as it really feels rugged, safe. I hadn't realized that the ShockWave provides a plastic cover for the iPad face, which is a pleasant surprise. I have to press just a bit firmer on the characters on account of that extra plastic, but I don't really find that objectionable as the safe package makes up for it. One thing, however. Carrying it around feels that the unit is too exposed, and I would prefer to have it covered, like one of those office folders of yesteryear. The ad for this unit says that a folder is optional, but I couldn't find a way to order it, I just couldn't. But overall I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

I expected this product to be higher quality than it is. The case is functional, but it feels poorly made. None of the parts really feel like they mate together well, and the entire silicone shell has this very apparent seam that wraps around the entire case. The kickstand also feels just as flimsy, if not more flimsy than others. The only pro is that it’s replaceable if it breaks.

I’ve had this for over a year and can say with confidence that it is very durable. It’s on an iPad that is regularly used by 9lb Yorkie to watch videos of squirrels and birds. She sometimes gets very rough with the iPad. So far no damage to the iPad inside. It also helps that the sides are very thick so if she bites it, her fangs can’t close well on the screen part.

I bought this for my son who has cerebral palsy. He uses his iPad a lot as a therapeutic tool and he's tough on it. We've had trouble finding a case that can stand up to the heavy use (the Otterbox only lasted about 3 months). So far the Lifeproof case is the only one that has worked for us. I had high hopes for the UZBL Heavy Duty case, but it only lasted a month. It has multiple cracks on the screen protector and as the photo shows water has gotten inside. Unfortunately, the case doesn't come with a warranty so if you need a replacement outside the 30 day return window you're out of luck.

Great case. When school switched to distance learning, my daughters brought home their school iPads. This is what they use. We loved it and bought for our iPads. They cover well, scratch resistant and the stand is nice. Especially that the stand can be replaced. Great cover and the price is more than reasonable!

The case was protects your ipad from getting damaged, but it did not keep the dust dirt from getting on screen. About every week or so you would have to take the case a part so you could clean the dust and dirt off your screen. For what we paid for this item I don't think I should have to be taking the case a part to clean the screen. I would not recommend this product.

I got this because my son has a school-issued iPad that came home with one.Excellent. Best case for the iPad available. The price is good and the whole thing is pretty much bullet proof.Installation is a little challenging, but you can find videos on-line that show you how.Best apple accessory I have ever bought, and I started with the first gen iPhone (no apps, remember that?)

Needs instructions for installation. good quality.

My grandson is using it for a long time now. It delivers what it promises. Just one tiny thing it is a little hard for him to open the stand.
