I was notified by a coworker that this is the go-to brand for meat-free bouillon. I looked for it in the grocery store and the rack was empty! I decided to purchase it on Amazon and tried using it soon after. I was pleasantly surprised... the flavor was equivalent, and it's quite versatile. The salt content is higher than that of your typical bouillon, but not by much. It doesn't seem to be as robust (or thicken as much) as the typical bouillon, but I can get by that. I'm assuming it will last quite a while due to the amount of salt, but be sure to place it in the refrigerator... it's not a powdery substance, but more like a paste (consistent to tomato paste). This is an awesome bouillon. When I don't get it at the store I get it here. Great as the 'flavor packet' for Ramen and additions, far less salt too.

It said in the title and description that it was (6x8oz) so i assumed there would be six of them especially for the price of $33, yet i only recieved one.

Great for people who like cooking. Better option than a broth cube.
