High quality and really cute with the novelty colours (who'd have thought a nappy bin could be so stunning?). Its a bit pricey but you should save money in the long run over purchasing from a brand that uses novelty bags (them refills run for like £30 a month which is absolutely insane, I much prefer brands like this where you can use regular bin bags). It contains odour very well when it is sealed because steel is not porous, and I love the locking feature. Smell will escape a bit when you re-open the bin of course, but if you wish to limit this you can seal the nappies in individual nappy bags before placing into the larger bin bag. Nice and easy to clean and wipe down as needed. I felt very frivolous spending so much money on a nappy bin but now I have it I am very satisfied with my decision, I am even considering another in a different colour so we have one for upstairs and one for downstairs (although I'll admit this is a little excessive - I just really want another pretty colour lol).

The cost up front of this nappy pail is high, no doubt. However, after doing some sums I realised that this was actually much better value than the other nappy bins that twist and package each nappy.Firstly, this looks great and is very well constructed and feels quality. It’s easy to clean, and spray disinfectant spray in it when I change the bag.Secondly, you can use your own bin bag, which over time you will be using this (years!) will save a lot of money in comparison to competitor I mentioned earlier. The refills for those are very expensive.Thirdly, it does it’s job VERY well. Our boy is breastfed and is 10 weeks old now. We can fill this with days worth of nappies and it doesn’t smell at all. I actually cannot believe it. We wrap dirty nappies and wipes in a bag and then put them in this pail. We change it every few days, when it is full.When you have so much to do as a new parent, you just want things that work. We are not extravagant parents, we have literally only bought this and a baby carrier new and everything else has been second hand. Although it may feel counter intuitive to spend so much money on what is essentially just a bin, it really is worth it due to the performance.

This is perfect, easy to use and clean, and very sleek looking. This bin was a bit pricier than other options but I think I have already made my money back as I am able to use an ordinary bin liner inside it, rather than purchasing special bags like most other nappy bins require. It keeps the smell in provided the lid is closed.

I’m a mum and carer of my young adult son who needs pads, I bought this bin as my red lidded bin (general waste) smelt bad all the time! We put the number 2 pads in the ubbi singularly wrapped in a bag, the ubbi bin is outside and has no odours when locked, my general waste bin no longer smells bad, the ubbi bin holds about 10 adult pads before needing to be emptied, I wrap them in a rubble bag when transferring to the general waste bin to avoid odour but I’d love to purchase another ubbi as that would see us through the 2 weeks, it’s expensive but it’s worth it if you want an odour free general waste bin, I’ve read reviews on folk cleaning the ubbi and it going rusty, I wiped mine with diluted barbicide( use gloves) and it’s fine, expensive bin but in the long run saved money on odour products for the general waste bin, hope this helps I had my doubts but it definitely works for us

This item is described as a ‘locking nappy bin’ with a ‘childproof lock’. HOWEVER, you can only lock the sliding hatch on the lid - NOT the lid itself, which can be lifted up with ease! Your child can therefore EASILY access the contents. Or in my case, your child can gently topple the bin and the lid pops open, spilling its contents on the floor and giving your dog a tasty meal! The product description is a JOKE and a clear example of FALSE ADVERTISING. UPDATE: Ubbi has REFUSED to refund, saying you can’t return a used or damaged item (it’s not damaged and was only used ONCE - my child got into it WITHIN 24 HOURS). If they don’t refund, I will report them to both Amazon and Trading Standards.

My elderly mother is incontinent and her bathroom used to smell awful. Now it's a scent free space. She wears multiple diapers throughout the day and her trash is only collected once a week where she lives. This has made all the difference. I will say the opening is a little stiff.

I bought this for my daughter and her new baby and she's very very pleased with it. Locks in all odors and as well made and also does not take up a lot of space.

Decided to buy this instead of a diaper genie for a second child and after only a couple months I can say without a doubt this is a way better product. Built better less smell holds more diapers between changes no mechanical parts to break or jam like a diaper genie.We are buying the bags from the company but the value is just as good as any other garage bag. Take this over a diaper genie if your on the fence.
