Well-suited for beauty lighting, the Bi-Color Flood Shoot-Through LED Ring Light from Ledgo provides a soft, even light quality for close-up work along with the distinct shape to produce ring-shaped catchlights in your subjects eyes. It has a large 18.3" exterior diameter and its shoot-through design affords a 12" diameter opening to work within, permitting the use of a range of cameras and lenses. The ring light has a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 95 to ensure accurate color rendition along with an onboard dimming adjustment and a color temperature range from 3200-5600K to match varying ambient light situations. Further extending its versatility, this light can be powered by either AC or DC power sources via the 100-240 VAC adapter or using two optional Sony NP-F-type batteries or other external power sources via a D-tap cable. It is suitable for use in the studio, using the integrated 1/4"-20 mount or the included bracket with 5/8" receptacle, or can also be used as a run-and-gun light via the built-in dual handles and camera mounting plate that supports mounting to 15mm rail systems. Additionally, benefitting its use for social media shooters and those recording with mobile devices, there is a built-in USB charging port to keep your phone or tablet's battery life topped off.

The Ring
I love this light. It can be used with batteries as well. It's amazing. The warmth can be changed with a dial. Great purchase

This ring light is a beast.
Love this ring light. Light, flexible, I can attach it to the camera to a light stand, it's battery powered no cables thing is a beast and gives me some of the best lighting because it let's me control the temperature.

Great light, terrible handle.
The blue handle thing broke off almost immediately. It was basically glued to the little nub (not sure what its called) instead of screwed into it.The light itself works great, just don't like spending this much on items that break.

Versatile and Powerful
Powerful. No flicker that I can see when on low. I've used it on two very different projects already with much success.

Very disappointing flicker with batteries.

Useless when battery operated
It starts flickering at 20% brightness when operated by fully charged batteries.

At first I was skeptical, now I'm satisfied!
This light is fantastic. I have a couple of other cheaper ring lights and this one is above and beyond them. I like that it has rails that you can attach your camera to. The surface is wider than the cheap Neewer that I have and the temperature control is key for how I use it - as an iPad ring light photo booth. The USB port can charge the iPad if necessary, which is spectacular. The handles are particularly noteworthy if you want to use the light as a roaming photo booth (and this is where the temperature control comes into play, to have better control of matching the other ambient lighting), or you can connect it to a monopod and take photos or boomerangs that way. This is possible because of the 1/4" 20 mount on the bottom. My other ring lights have a different mechanism and this can't be done. You can mount it on a monopod with an adapter, but then it's no longer as rigid. I custom made front and rear plexiglass panels to complete the look for my purposes.Lastly, full power brightness isn't possible with the Neewer light I have but this one is BRIGHT! Almost too bright. You need VERY little power to properly light up a session. The only potential disadvantage is that I'm not sure how the 12" iPad Pro model would fit. I have the 9.7 and it's great with it.
