This was far better than another lighter by Paddywax. It charges nicely, and the green color is a nice subtle color that makes it easier to find in a busy drawer. It works consistently well with different types of candles, including candles that have more than two wicks. I’ve also tried it on wicks that have not been trimmed recently, and although it doesn’t light as instantaneously as a match, it works much better than other USB lighters that I have tried. It charges pretty quickly, but you do need to be mindful about when you need to plug it in because it takes a while to get to full charge.

I ordered this because it’s windy as all get out where I live & I just needed a lighter that I didn’t have to fight with to use. When I initially bought the lighter I thought it was pretty cool, it needed charged after 2 days, I considered that possibly normal. But then it started needing charged nightly & I only use it twice a day! I was not too thrilled about it, but sucked it up. Within a week of it starting that, I had to charge it EVERY time I wanted to use it… now I was more than annoyed.I reached out to the seller & told them I wanted a refund. They asked me to give them a 2nd chance & if I was still unsatisfied they would refund me immediately without any issues (which they would have done either way, but I do try to believe it giving 2nd chances).I received my replacement about a week before I ended up in the hospital, but the lighter was with me the whole time & not charged one time the entire time I was in the hospital & now I have been home for about 2 weeks & it is finally showing it only has 1 bar of power left!! This lighter managed to work for 2-3 weeks without issue or being recharged!!!I also love that they made the power slide a little more difficult to slide on & off because it’s a deterrent for children to play with it!!I am pleased as punch with the replacement thus far, but if I just jinxed everything by writing my review (it seems to happen a lot anymore… I need to just carry a piece of wood with me just to knock on when I leave reviews. Lol) I will happily reach back out to the company & work with them again!!!

I wanted one of these forever — finally got it, and I’m obsessed. If you love candles, this is a must-have. It’s flameless, rechargeable, and works like a charm. No more running out of lighters or messing with matches. Clean, easy, and honestly kind of fun to use.

UPDATE: Customer service reached out to me about this review and let me know that the lighter will not charge using a high-speed charger.i tried a usb-c cord plugged into my computer and the lighter charged up just fine. So, I'm adjusting my rating to 4-stars for the good customer service and that it still works, but deduct a star sure to the slight inconvenience of not being able to charge off my usb-c laptop charger.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I loved my this charger until I needed to charge it. We bought to bring on a trip so we could light little tea candles to freshen up the hotel room and didn't want to pack anything combustible and it worked great. We've since come to use it as our primary lighter for candles at home, fires in the fireplace and the fire pit. It's all great, but now the battery is drained and when we plug it in, no charging light comes on and even leaving it plugged in all night, there's still no charge.The battery lasted for several months, but this is not supposed to be a disposable lighter. I see several other reviews complaining about the same thing, but it's like 20 out of 4,700, so that's not to bad I guess, but we definitely got a bum one. I guess I'm going to try another brand and see if it works as intended (unless the seller wants to send a replacement).

Not something I thought I needed in my house, but now that I bought it I’m glad I have it! It lights candles so nicely and easily!! Sleeker and easier to use than a traditional lighter. Feels nice in your hand. So many fun colors! I have not had to charge it yet, and I’ve had it for a few months. Honestly, I love this product. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve had this since October 2024, and it’s still working flawlessly as of March 23, 2025. I use it to light candles regularly, and the rechargeable battery holds a charge for weeks. The lock adds a safety touch, and it works well even with wind. One of the best tech purchases I’ve made.

I purchased this lighter in December of 2024. Charged it fine and now have been using it sporatically. It needs to be charged up, so I pluged it into a wall outlet that has usb ports, and the charge light come on, then off. No matter where I try to plug it in to charge, iphone charger, computer, usb charger into the wall outlet, it will not charge. Blue light comes on the in about 15 seconds goes off. It will not take a charge. Beware all. You can see many reviews with the same issue. Hopefully the manufacture sees this review and figures out how to solve this issue for me and many others.

Super easy to use and recharge. The charge lasts an impressively long time. I do live in a childfree home, and I'm fairly certain a preschool-aged child could easily figure it out since it takes less fine motor dexterity to use than a traditional lighter, so please keep that in mind if you have little ones at home.
