I needed a replacement controller and this worked awesome.

The media could not be loaded. First off, the installation manual is pretty much useless when trying to figure out what wires to use for lock and unlock. If you have any experience with wiring and a meter, it should be easy to figure out. I just did a slap-dash installation in the back of my work van and tied into the rear lock button harness. The range seems to be pretty good. We will see how it holds up.

The first install was early 2022 with board revision V2. The second install was late 2024 with board revision V4. Fyi, Mercedes W201, has an air pump under the back bench.The same documentation was in each box and unfortunately was obsolete, did not match the circuit board. This became relevant because I both cases I needed to reconfigure away from the default electric style with short actuation, to pneumatic style with long actuation. The V2 was an obvious jumper, just not matching the doc, but the V4 had no such feature.No contact info anywhere, but my US Cantonese Sherlock discovered it to be Zhongshan Lanbo Electronics in Guangzhou. We eventually connected via WeChat, got an instant answer for configuration. Always a pleasure working with the Chinese tech crowd. You just have to know how to reach 'em.Me Q: How to configure the V4 board for electric or pneumatic systems?Lanbo A: To flip modes, hold the lock and unlock buttons for 5 seconds, then release soon after.If corner lights have been connected, they'll flash 4 times iirc.As for other comments about the documentation being difficult or useless, this engineer found the pneumatic wiring diagram 4 to be adequate and correct, except for text being obsolete with respect to the jumper config. Combine your app option with the page 2 common diagram for system power and lights.

The media could not be loaded. First of all, I bought this remote entry for the remote! It is as solid as it looks, and has a solid feel. I felt that is was the most "factory" looking remote available. (on Amazon). Installation was easy. But, I am experienced in AV installations. The pictures in the instructions gave 4 different wiring diagrams for 4 different lock systems. Also it has a master diagram. It has a verified 150+ feet of range. It has 2 outputs for lights, or horn, or beeper. (once time for lock, two times for unlock) It also has an output for a trunk release, but this was a low voltage signal that needs a relay in order to drive a trunk solenoid. You push the unlock for 3 seconds to activate this. Also, it will lock and flash the (lights) once, every time you push the lock button. It will unlock and flash twice every time you push unlock. This remote gets 5/5 stars.

I recieved this and even with my decent knowledge of cars, the instructions are useless. I ended up paying someone who knew their way around wiring to install it with my odd cars. For anyone wondering, my car has roll up windows and power locks and works good. The button needs a really good smash to unlock the car however, definitely not touchy. Also good luck getting any tech questions answered by the seller they never replied to mine. My installer also couldn't get the wiring to the lights, i guess those didnt work.Overall, decent purchase but definitely have to know wires to get it installed.

Won't work unless your car already has remote door locks.

I had this installed by my mechanic so I don't know about ease of installation. He said that he had to look some things up to get it to work.He got it installed and it works like a charm. I'm happy and this was far cheaper to do than re-key my failing door locks.

The media could not be loaded. Works good in a ‘01 Sebring with factory central locking. This one replaced a failed unit from 2004 that was with the car when I bought it. Came with two fobs, just writing the review a few months after install, it takes some time to get it right, but works well when it’s done.

Fast shipping but not working, tried to install on 2006 chevy colorado with factory electric lock system, but this does not even unlock or lock after installing it. it saids universal fit, but thats is a lie. it is not a universal fit.

No issues installing it. Works perfectly. Game changer for an old truck!

The included remotes are nice. The instructions and wiring diagram are very poor. Some trial and error will be needed. If this is your trade you will be able to figure it out.
