You definitely get what you pay for with the Philips Hue Bulbs.They are expensive but they look great and work perfectly with my Hue Light Switch and Alexa integration.Love that you can change the colour temperature to give it a better warm white glow rather than just a cool white.Used them in our bedside lamps in our recently refurbed bedroom and they are perfect.

I was very hesitant to buy this product for two reasons. 1 the low energy rating and 2 the fact that people were saying it wasn’t bright enough and was too orange in colour. There are also some Q&A’s saying you can’t adjust the colour temperature.Well firstly the rating is due to changes in the ranges introduced in 2021. This light still uses exactly the same amount of energy it did when it was rated A+ but the barometers have changed. So that’s that.Secondly, you absolutely can adjust the colour temperature and the range goes from a very atmospheric candle-like warmth all the way to a cool, daylight-esque tone.Finally, the brightness. This is subjective I suppose and I wouldn’t use just one of these lights to light a single room but as part of a 6-bulb chandelier it works very well. The cooler the colour temperature the brighter the light seems - even though it’s obviously still 550 lumens.It’s also beautiful. The Phillips hue twirl on filament bulbs is gorgeous and I’m super excited to buy more. All in all - VERY happy with this purchase!

This bulb is stunning on & off. The clear glass design & internal coil is perfect for our industrial-style lounge, but also suits our woven floor lampshade. It was easy to connect to the hue app & Alexa. Great to be able to choose between bright white & warm amber depending on our needs. I have the smaller version of this bulb for a table lamp & wouldn’t hesitate to get more of the same style. Yes it is more pricy than a standard bulb but the modern design & dimmable, colour changing features outweigh the price tag.

Bear in mind that these bulbs are not very strong so if you want more light, you might want to go with a stronger one. We use it in our living room and we don't need too much light, and I also like the dark-ish warm room, it creates a nice ambient but definitely not too bright. Otherwise good bulb, good design and it looks good inside a transparent design lamp shade on the ceiling

I bought this bulb for the atheistically pleasing nature of the bulb, although the price is on the high side you pay it for the quality! Compatible with Alexa and works perfectly in routines, this bulb really is a game changer. Very happy with this bulb and would recommend this to anyone.

Love these bulbs, I have several being used in different types of light fittings. Look good and good light output.

I have always loved the Hue bulbs, but the filament bulbs look so much more stylish! All of my Hue bulbs have lasted for many years now. They are so easy to set up in the app as long as you have your Hue Bridge for them to connect to. You have the same flexibility with the brightness to set the scenes that most suit the occasion. I will definitely be changing all of my lamps to the filament bulbs.

Freely adjustable warmth and brightness. Multiple lightbulbs can be grouped and controlled by Philips' Hue app. A great lighting solution for our living room. A little bit pricey but totally worth it.
