Mighty BrightLighted Folding Magnifier, Black/Silver

My 93 yr old Father used this exact magnifier for years. It was his favorite one, he took it every where. Especially when he drove to meet his friends for breakfast every morning. Last week he lost track of this magnifier. It is very unusual for him to loose anything, I wish I had that ability, think my sister got that gene. He called the restaurants, stores and every place he visits, and I have to tell you , he gets around!He told me that this folding magnifier with the light is so helpful, especially for reading menus. He told me in his exact words that’s the push button light makes all the difference. And that it easily fits in his pocket after folding.After he told me about this loss, I told him, if anyplace has this exact magnifier, it’ll be Amazon. Sure enough after like a minute of searching from his description, I pointed this one out . And he says “Yes, that’s it exactly” I ordered it and said it’ll be here in 2 days. He was amazed. 2 days later and he’s back in business! This is one of those cases where a certain unassuming device can become so helpful to someone in their everyday life. Thank you Amazon for bringing a smile to my amazing 93 yr old Father!

The cost is reasonable for the item. The light is bright enough to help with mother’s vision issues. However, the lightbulb burned out after just over 1 year, out of warranty, and well under the warranted # of hours, but conveniently out of warranty coverage. It was simple to replace for her with the same magnifier, only because it works so well and the cost is reasonable.

My mother uses these exclusively for her macular degeneration. Other than wishing the laws of physics allowed a stronger magnification, she loves these. The ONLY issue is the light sometimes burn out quickly. The seller is AMAZING and has replaced 2 for her, over the years, when they burned out earlier than she thought they should. I want to make clear, that every magnifier she’s bought does not burn out early, she has used these for years and they have only replaced 2, but they do so without any hesitation.

I find the Mighty Bright Lighted Folding Magnifier with 3X Magnification extremely helpful as I can easily carry itin my pocketbook and use it as needed when I shopping and need help when having to read the small printon packages. I highly recommend the 3X magnifier.

Bought as a Christmas gift to replace a similar one that had provided years of use. Took a few years to track a replacement down but well worth it.
