This has been a great purchase for my daughter! She lives in a dorm where she has to swipe her ID card to get in. It was such a hassle for her to have to take it out of the card holder she had just so that she could swipe it. This was even more difficult if she had her hands full. This holder is perfect since it only covers half of the card, leaving the side with the magnetic strip exposed.I was worried about how securely the holder would keep the card in place. I was worried that it would fall out. It actually seems to lock the card in. It has made things so much easier for her. Although I was skeptical at first, this was definitely a great purchase!!!

Everytime I watch my CO workers having to take their badge out of their plastic cover I get tickled. I had purchased some for them, but people need to learn how to make their own purchases for themselves. They wanted to come back to me when they loose, crack or need another one. No sir, the 1st one is on me. I tell you where to go and it's up to you from there. I've only went through 2 in almost 4 years do that tells you how sturdy they are. You clip it on swipe and keep it moving. No standing there fussing trying to get your badge out of thoseLittle aggravating plastic covers. No way Jose. I swipe and I'm out the door ✌🏽.

It is very useful in college. I have to swipe in to get food, into my building, into my room and multiple other events on campus. With the holder you never have to take the card out of the holder as long as the magnetic strip is on the outside. The holder has a secure grip so even if its holding the id card from the top rather than the side or bottom for some it does not fall out. Sure its kind of weird that my id card is upside down all of the time but I could just as easily clipped my lanyard to one of the smaller holes off center to get it to lay on its side instead. With all of the id cards I have lost/broken this one can really take the abuse I throw at it. :) Great product. Love it!

I was tired of having to take my badge out of my holder just to swipe the magnetic strip through to get access to where I work so this half card holder works perfectly! It holds onto the badge pretty well, but the problem is if you let people play with it or pull the badge out of the holder too many times then it doesn't hold onto the badge after a while due to wear. If you put the card in and never pull it out then it works great. I bought more than one to have some for backup in the event one breaks of wears like it did. I haven't needed to use any backup ones yet because I used a strip of scotch tape and taped the back side of the holder and badge to keep it in place. If it didn't wear out so easily from removing the badge a few times, I would've given it five stars.

Suprisingly stable

I lost me card and noticed a tiny crack had developed.I was able to find it and glued it in with x7000. It is holding now and feels sturdier but the glue damaged the image on the card. Fortunately it is. not an issue for where I work but be aware. I will rivet the next one in probably.

It’s great if you are lazy like me and don’t feel like removing your school id from a sleeve. It grants quick and easy use

I have lost my time card 3 times during my shift. I regret purchasing this. It needs to be tighter. Now, Ill have to think of a way to make it so my card stops falling out, like curing some resin dots in there or something....
