I purchased this and radio thinking that it would be a quality after using it. It appears the battery will only last for between 4–5 hours when the radio is used on low volume. I contacted kaito customer services and the response I got back was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I explained the problem with the radio and that the battery is 18650 battery should last longer than this is the response I got back was that this is normal and that” if I want a longer run time, I should consider buying myself a bigger battery” this is not except for a new product. I purchased this after reading there products back where it clearly states “ after charging the radio will last for days “ and after replying to the email, they have not even have the courtesy to reply. My advice is to avoid this company and their product at all costs a total rip-off, and misleading information on their webpage.

I bought this radio because my old one succumbed to lead acid batteries withering, then dead. So I set out to find a replacement with long-lasting lithium Ion batteries. That narrowed down choices by quite a bit.Next I found that the best-selling (cheaper) radio did not allow the emergency broadcast function to be deactivated. This is a great idea if you are camping in an Arizona mountain ravine—but the emergency test every Wednesday morning becomes very annoying in a home situation.This is a great radio. Small and light. Simple turnoff button. Battery life great. Crank charging awesome. Tuning sharp. My only negative comment is that it has way too many bells and whistles which most of us over 60 will never be be able to master.

If my power goes out, I can still listen to music.

I received this item today and was testing and figuring everything I could out. I set the date and time which is pretty cool and seeing all the other settings. I saw some of the reviews, but they were not entirely true. It has pretty good speakers, and even with the Bluetooth too. I am not even sure I put it at the max volume, so that is pretty cool. Although, when I was playing the Radio with the antenna all the up it fell of my couch and busted a bit. Sadly it fell on the arena damaging it, which I tried to fix and did but not all the way. It can go down but not all the way so that is a bummer. I am seeing if i can get it replaced since it's not that big cost of fixing and replacing it. I wanted to give it 5 stars because it's a really cool idea and pretty neat. However, it could be more sturdy making it more durable... :/
