Check for “thick” or “thin” style oil pan
First of all, this is a very high quality gasket. I have a close friend who needed this style anyway, so that worked out nicely.This is the “thick” style. Older than 74? Needs thin and newer than 74 needs “thick” style? I think. Please do your homework. Just google sbc oil pan gasket thick or thin

1880 Oil Pan Gasket
Another Fel-Pro Product. Very easy to use. A very strong gasket. I would strongly recommend its use and will use it again on my next engine.

Worked well on a 74 SBC, new oil pan, without any leaks. It is a bit pricey.

NOT CHEAP.
So for so good. Guys online are saying to put a dab of silicone in each corner where it meets the oil pan . I don't think I'd ever go back to a cork gasket. Hope it pays off. I wish they make it in Chevy Orange
