Manda Fine Meats (Boudin, 2.25lb) 2 Pack

Unfortunately, the first shipment they sent us arrived 27 days after ordering, so it was tossed this morning when we received it. However, the seller made good when the package did not arrive within a few days, and had already sent us and we received a good, still frozen package of Manda boudin. 2.25 lbs. is great for family events and the size of the links are just right for everyone to enjoy some boudin. The taste is great, not the best, but definitely a tasty boudin. The meat to rice ratio is balanced, and has some spice, but not too spicy, Overall, will purchase again, based on the amount of boudin you get for the price. We checked on purchasing direct from some boudin companies and they all want $100+ for two-day shipping to get to us here in Oregon from Louisiana, so being an Amazon Prime member we paid nothing in shipping, but do basically pay for it in the cost of the boudin. 2.25lbs of Manda boudin on their own website is only $20'ish dollars, so paying $20 more for shipping is well worth it compared to paying $100+ directly through their website.

Folks this is great Boudin!But It took awhile to finally get this fine rice pork sausage .My first order disappeared in the mail or maybe it was stolen. But I was immediately reimbursed by either Manda Fine Meats or Amazon after I reported my loss. The second time I ordered, my neighbor took it upon herself to take the package from our elevator person and bring it to her apartment because of reported thefts in the building. D. didn't knock on our door, nor phone, nor slip a note under my door before she left for the weekend not realizing the package was perishable. I finally got it four days after delivery. By then it was way too long thawed and I blame UPS. But I don't blame Sweet Meats Packing.The Third time I ordered, and by now I really wanted Boudin.It was at my door. Delivered to me by the elevator man the next day I orderedMy wife and I have been to New Orleans over too many past years maybe seven. And we miss Oysters and Crayfish and Ham. Manda has it down. Best Boudin via mail so sweet and easy to cook if you have time and a thought. loved it.

I really couldn’t tell you whether the product was good or not because it was portly packaged and was supposed to be kept cold but it was not It was warm so I was too scared to eat it so I threw it away because of the policy because it’s food, I was not able to return it

Even though it was great to the taste the seasoning just didn’t have the flavor like I wanted it still a good product that I would order again in a pinch

First off, I am not a Cajun food connoisseur. Just a Pittsburgh transplant that's been living in Memphis since '87. I am however, a "Foodie". Since living in the south, I have grown particularly fond of some of the Cajun offerings this area of the country serves up. And I LOVE boudin!!!I bought this hoping is what good, without any delusions of grandeur. I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious! Not the very best I've ever had, but really good! The very best I've had was at a hole in the wall in New Orleans. This was a respectable second place. The flavors weren't in your face, but present and balanced. A touch of salt made everything pop, and it had just the right amount of heat.The package arrived sealed with dry ice. The contents were frozen solid. This could have lasted another full day on my doorstep. I will definitely be ordering this again!

Good flavor but the casing is too thin. The sausages broke /cracked while cooking. Almost needed a spoon.I tried the second time, with slower heat (pan) and also in a stew. With the stew, it totally disintegrated.So, good flavor but unable to keep them integral.
