I wanted a good Bushcraft Knife that was Stainless Steel so I could use it for everything from food prep to wood prep. I have a BUSSE Team Gemini Light Brigade made from INFI Steel, but who needs a 8 inch blade to peel potatoes for a stew? When I first saw the Brothers of Bushcraft knife and its design, I loved it. But with it being 1095 High Carbon Steel, it wasn't what I was looking for. Then I found this one in 154CM Stainless and had to buy it! Tops is one of the best knife making companies out there. Yes, their knives are kind of on the expensive side, but you really do get what you paid for. This knife comes with a Kydex Sheath. I can make my own Kydex sheaths, and I can tell you that the materials for that sheath would cost you around $20, and to have someone make the sheath for you would probably cost you $40 or more dollars. So with that said you are paying roughly $90 for a knife that will last well beyond you. Tops Knives are High Quality and something you can pass down from generation to generation. It's performance in the field was amazing. I used it to process wood, and it did it like a champ. I used it peel potatoes, dice carrots, and more importantly, it allowed me to dice some onions so fast that I didn't even cry. It comes from the factory very sharp. Would I recommend this knife, YES I WOULD. I love the knife so much I am going to order the 1095 version of it so I can have both. This knife is built like a tank, and fits like a glove in my hands and I have medium size hands. I do have a BK2, and I love it, but I would much rather have this knife over the BK2. This knife has replaced the BK2 in my Get Home Bag. Lastly, all I can say is do yourself a favor and purchase one of these, you will not be disappointed, and you will be extremely happy you did. So close!
So much about this knife is great. The feel, the balance, the size and the blade itself. With one major exception. The failure to put a 90 degree spine on the blade. Woodsmen like to use the spine of the knife to scrape fine tinder off of sticks and twigs. A rounded spine just does not do the job. Bushcrafters know this and it amazes me that the Brothers of Bushcraft do not accommodate those of us that want it. That would make this knife virtually perfect for Bushcrafting. So, without a 90 degree spine I give the knife 4 stars instead of 5.

Uneven grind.
The knife itself is well built and solid. It's a bit on the heavy side, but if you want a tank of a knife then this is it. My only complaint is the uneven grind, one side of the knife is not symmetrical with the other side. I know it's just aesthetics, but for the price it should have been perfect.

Yes, it’s worth the money.
Ok so my review is a bit skewed because I haven’t been able to truly test this knife yet. It actually arrived in the mail today...So far I’ve cut through a branch with ease. Notched a v groove in a log and battonned a log in half. But so far the edge had held strong which is exactly why I bought this knife. It is a heavy knife. Much heavier than other fixed blades I own of similar size. This is due to how thick the blade is compared to your average hunting knife. The thick blade means it wouldn’t be ideal for hunting / fishing uses but would work in a pinch if needed. But it also means you can really beat on it with confidence that you aren’t going to bend it easily. But don’t misunderstand, there obviously is a point where you’re over-abusing the blade.I am retiring my previous bushcraft knife today and dont plan on looking back.Ps: the Kydex sheath has a very positive lock which hopefully translates to secure retention for years to come.

I LOVE this knife!
I’ve carried a LOT of knives over the last 20+ years, both on active duty and while hunting and camping around the world. This is by far my favorite bush knife. When you hold it in your hand, you know youre holding a very well made tool.

Great well built knife
154 CM is harder to sharpen than 1095 but the edge lasts longer and it is stainless steel. Great well built knife, the handle is pretty long for the blade size. The sheath is outstanding but limited to clip on.
