Can i plug in a timer for this?

Hello, you can use a timer but it may not work well since the GFCI will turn the pump off once the timer runs out and you may have to restart it manually again. how much sand does the filter hold?

Hello! The sand filter pump uses 50lb bag of #20 Selica sand. If you have any issues or have any questions; Please contact Bestway USA!

Is a 15 x 42 pool to big for this pump

that is what mine is on but all depends on the chemicals you use.
