Pierced OwlG23 Implant Grade Solid Titanium Internally Threaded Barbells, Sold as a Pair

I ordered the 14g 1/2 inch 4mm ball.I have had my piercings for about 9 years and they're still sensitive when changing jewlery.Jewlery: I was told by a piercer that titanium is a great option for those with sensitive skin, and when surgical steel doesn't do that trick. 1/2 inch is a very snug fit. I have no exposed barbell. The 4mm balls are very tiny, Compared to the ball on my belly ring it's about 1/3 to 1/4 of the size. This is a nice set if you want to avoid snagging the piercing on clothes and if you want your piercing to be undetected when going bra-less.Process: This is my first set of internally threaded barbells and I found them a lot less painful to insert due to the lack of threads exposed. I also recommend using a water solvable lubricant (KY jelly works) to coat the jewlery to make it go through easier. I just butted the new barbell up to the end of the previously inserted jewlery and followed it through. Absolutely painless!Seller: product arrived on time in a plastic bag, these do not come in sealed sterilized packages so you will need to wash them with Antibacterial soap (Dial). This is a great price for a custom set of nipple rings, you would pay at least double to do this at a shop, plus tip of course. Just be sure to use check the measurements on yourself or on jewlery that you already own that fits well.

I bought a few other products in different sizes and they worked exactly how they should be. Now the size I really wanted will not come apart. I had for almost 4 days trying to unscrew. I had another person help. Didn’t work. Tried warm water to release if their was potential junk in the screw but that didn’t work. Place tacky on my fingers to grip the ball. Didn’t work.Overall it is completely stuck. All the other sizes I ordered are fine. Just not this one. And since I tampered with it to unscrew it would be unfair to return.

I ordered these about a week ago 11/10, they got here 11/12, on a Sunday nonetheless, with prime. I purchased the 16mm (5/8ths), they come as a pair, in a plastic baggie. They are internally threaded, I could only get one of the balls off, so unless I’m not strong enough to get the other one off, I’m going to assume only one side comes off, disappointing, but not a huge deal. The balls are smaller than the standard ones that usually come with barbells, don’t know the exact size, description says 5mm, I like that they’re smaller because they’re more discrete with clothes. I got these to replace the surgical steel bars I had from when I got my piercings, I couldn’t be happier! The old ones were too long so my piercings would get snagged, especially while sleeping, one in particular had formed a small pimple type cyct on one side that would drain but always come back. This issue had been going on for 2.5 of the 5 months I’ve had the peircings. It is now 10/18, so not even a full week since they’ve been in and the cyst is gone, completely healed. They were also usually very sensitive, in a painful, not fun kind of way, and that bad sensitivity is gone, they don’t hurt at all anymore. I am extremely happy with this purchase, good fitting barbells make such a huge difference in every aspect of a piercing. I would definitely recommend getting these, especially if you think you might be sensitive to steel, I would absolutely buy them again. You can’t beat this price for the quality.

I've tried the cheaper stuff before that contains nickel or that 316 surgical steel Bs which I don't even have an allergy to. I can wear cheap stuff in my other Piercings, but these barbells along with the ones I was pierced with which were implant grade titanium, are the only ones that have not ever irritated my nipple Piercings.I literally do not feel them, they are super comfortable and snug to not constantly catch on clothing and if you know how to handle internally threaded jewelry, they will not come unscrewed or fall off unless you deliberately try to remove the balls.I'm fairly certain that the people having issues with the balls being loose or falling off aren't familiar with internally threaded jewelry. You need to screw it on tight. Use a latex glove for more leverage, and remember righty-tighty, lefty-loosey ;)Especially since these piercings take so long to heal please do yourself a favor and always ALWAYS use internally threaded jewelry. You won't regret the investment.

I was a little scared to order based on the mixed reviews, but I really like these. They are exactly as described. It does seem like only one ball unscrews, but that's fine with me. I had no trouble unscrewing them. I ordered the 5/8in, which the listing says is the length of the bar not including balls, and that's exactly what I got.I can't speak to the quality/purity of the titanium, but they do at least look like titanium. They're the darker shade than surgical steel that you'd expect of titanium. I've also had no irritation whatever with them.A word of note that has nothing to do with product quality... This was my first time experimenting with the reversed threading. I was hoping that the balls would be harder to lose if they dropped, just rolling in a circle instead of skittering off to places unknown. (Haven't tested this theory yet). I didn't realize how much more difficult they would be to insert without the narrow threads, though. I would highly suggest working petroleum or wound ointment through your piercing with the OLD jewelry before removing, so the hole is well lubed. The second barbell went in so much easier than the first, this way!

This has me infuriated.I’m allergic to most metals, so after getting my nips pierced they began to get inflamed. I purchased these titanium bars and had them placed in professionally to avoid any mishap or damage.Rejoice, my nips healed up beautifully and all the pain and pus stopped!For a few weeks.This garbage is not pure titanium and is most likely coated. My nips became worse than they were before. Bumps appeared around my areola and the pain was full blast. Anything slightly grazing my breast would make them throb and ache.I had to purchase more titanium bars to switch these out, and once I did these bars I had inside were rusted. How wonderful. Pure quality right there.Don’t waste your money, and shame on this company. You can cause legitimate damage to people. Awful. If I had a way to demand a refund, I would. But luckily for these people, the coating ran off about a month in.Shame shame shame.

They are great! Haven’t had an issue and been wearing them for almost a year! No issues with the ball coming loose and falling off either! They are comfortable and look cute :)

One barbell was just as advertised. Absolutely flawless.The other one unfortunately has a slight defect. You thread the ball on the barbell, and it falls off.
