Great construction and price!
Great product for a great price. This was the exact size that I needed and worked perfectly!

Its ok, well made.
Not bad, well made, has a good closing mechanism unlike some of the others. Not really much room in it, most of it is "ramp". The picture is a little bit deceiving but it is solid. I would suggest they change the ramp design just a bit. This is the 4th trap of this kind I have purchased and they ALL seem to have some small to major flaw. Are these designed and made by people who use them? I make my own large fish traps and I think I will start making my own small ones as well.

No Crawfish, Yet
So far I have tried all the baits that my Cajun friends have recommended to me. Some would gag a maggot off a gut wagon (rotten fish, beef, roadkill). I'm told crawdads like them some `ripe' fare. I have not caught a single crawfish and I know they are right there because: 1.) I can see them; and 2.) their mud tubes are very close. So: Either I'm doing something wrong or the trap is not working. Upon talking to a few guys from S. La, I'm inclined to say it is the trap, but I never rule out my own stupidity. If it so happens I discover the trap does work well, I'll update my review, but for now it stands at a two-star...because I don't like it because I don't have any crawdads.
