My mom has always struggled with having straight hair and not being able to have lovely curls. The product is easy to turn on. You literally plug the product into the wall and flip the switch on when you’re ready to start using the product. It gets hot in less than 2 minutes. I do wish that you could adjust the heat settings since I do feel like it gets little too hot but at least it works! You’re able to get the small curls you want thanks to this product. I wouldn’t recommend it on people with naturally curly hair unless you want to kill the curls you already have. I wanted a more tiny curls in my natural curly, coarse hair since my natural curls are more of a 3a. Unfortunately my beautiful curls haven’t reverted back to the way they were after I curled my hair with this product and it has been months. Thankfully my hair doesn’t seem to be damaged and the product didn’t seem to damage my mother’s hair. Just giving a warning if you don’t want to kill your natural curls. Anyway, I highly recommend this product to those that are trying to stay within a certain budget and want curls. It’s basic so you’ll learn fast.

I LOVE this tool!! It gets soooo hot, so being careful and practice are imperative. I've always wanted kinky curls, but my hair has never held curl or even a perm! So yeah, I was able to avoid those embarrassing perm photos everyone has from back in the 80s. I have a mowhak now and wanted to do something different with it. Because I get my colors changed regularly, a perm wouldn't be an option anyway. This did the trick! I used it to put skinny, long kinky curls in all of my mohawk, then used glittery bobbypins to pin it how I wanted it to stay. It's lightweight, easy to use, and the curls stay to some degree until your hair gets wet or washed. My curls survived a 2 hour car drive to the airport (with the windows down), 6 hours of trying to sleep on a flight, then a night out, and STILL looked amazing the next day. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting curly hair that lasts!

One thing to note is that it does take a bit longer to curl all of my hair compared to thicker wands. However, the extra time is well worth it. The curls come out beautifully, with a level of precision that I haven't achieved with other products.The wand heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature, ensuring that each curl is uniform. It's also gentle on my hair, which is a huge plus for someone with fine hair like mine.Overall, if you’re looking for a tool that delivers professional-quality curls and are willing to spend a little more time to get the perfect look, this curling wand is a fantastic choice. Really pretty remarkable. Curls hair FAST and the curls hold for several days. I have long hair...and this is the first thing I have every found that actually works for me.... and holds. The rod is HOT so care is needed. but very good product.

EDIT: The manufacture has reached out to me and offered to send a free replacement. hope the new one works longer because when it did work i was very pleased with the results. will follow up.It was nice cause I bought it while traveling. It mathes my natural curls really well thats why I bought it. The barrel is square which is... weird but interest. It doesnt have corners its still smooth so the curls still look as though the barrel was round. I paid five more bucks for this one cause I thought it was cute, but as soon as i took it home and plugged it into the wall, it STOPPED WORKING. It would power on in my bathroom outlet. (i have two in there). Its a pain in the ass because I no longer have the box so it really sucks that it doesnt work in my bathroom.

I’ve had this wonderful chopstick for about six weeks. It gives me wonderful curls in my stick-straight, baby fine hair.But at least for me, the key for keeping the curls is to put my hair up in a pineapple every night before I go to bed.These pictures show days 2️⃣,3️⃣&4️⃣ right out of bed and just finger combing my hair.Previously, I would just put my hair back in an elastic, and the second day there were some waves, but no curl.The other thing that I always do is use a good heat protectant. I’ve been very pleased with L’Oreal heat slayer. I spray it on my dry hair and then comb it through before curling it.

The media could not be loaded. I am so impressed with the Chopstick styler. It is so easy to use and the curls last for days! I have straight, thin hair and it doesn’t hold a curl. With the chopstick styler my hair actually holds the curls for days (without adding any product to my hair.) I do use a heat protection spray before curling. Everyone thinks these are my natural curls :) I will be purchasing another one as a backup!

So I never write reviews, but this has become my all time favourite curler, and now I want the Master wand! My hair is super thin so I was worried it would come out frizzy like some of the reviews said, but as long as you brush your hair out well and unravel it in one piece you shouldn’t have any issues. That being said, depending what look you’re going for I’d recommend separating the curls a bit after you’re done and a little bit of styling oil goes a long way! It is a super hot temp so don’t hold the hair for long. Makes for shorter curl time which is a plus. Beginners may want to use the supplied heat resistant glove but once you get the hang of manually unrolling your curls you really don’t need it. Lasts several day, at least with thin hair.

Easy to use and very handy.

I usually don’t see many curling irons this size, so I was excited to try it. My hair is stick straight and curls don’t usually last long for me. However, using this… I had a full head of tight tiny curls and I’m in love 🥰 it took a bit longer due to the skinnier iron, but with how long the curls last… it’s not something you’ll have to do daily. I didn’t really have to apply any special products other than a heat protectant and serum and everything turned out beautifully. Also, it takes like seconds to heat up so total plus! It’s recommended for short to medium hair… mine is pretty long, but I was still able to get all of it wrapped on the barrel.

It is a good product in that it heats up well and will curl your hair. But, if your hair is fine expect a frizzy result. It is also not easy to use on short hair. You do need to use the glove that comes with, but even then it can be difficult to get good results unless you are talented at working your hair.
