RepairBox Controller Silicone for NES

The d pad on my nes controller was not working properly for the right direction arrow. When I took it apart I noticed the spring part on the existing silicone had a hole in it there. This replacement part works perfectly it's as good as new now and I only used that piece I'll use the others for a different controller if a different button goes bad. I only used the d pad part but from that one anyway I didn't notice it feeling any different than a working nes controller, sure does beat using one that didn't spring back properly. I now can use this controller as often as my others. Taking apart the nes controller is very easy there are videos online to help too. This is a lot cheaper than getting another controller and a much better option to keep the actual nes controller and just replacing these parts than getting a knock off controller too. Mine were blue not gray like the ones in the photo but they work just fine and you'll never see them anyway. Also I forgot to mention I highly recommend cleaning buttons and original silicone pieces If you are not replacing them all with soap and water and a soft old toothbrush. Then rinse and let them completely dry before putting them back to prevent mold. If they aren't busted the working ones should be just fine once cleaned.

Not quite OEM quality the silicone edges still has some roughness from the molding process. However they function fine the remote seems just as responsive and the buttons still fill as you would expect. The Select/Start button looked just a tad narrower than the original but that may have just been age. It does look like it will last a good long time and it functions fine.

They work well. But the select/start buttons are more grey than black so it will be noticeable if you have an original one next to this

Fits great in the controller for a good, inexpensive replacement of the original parts.

Serves it's purpose, but way too firm for me. Some of you may like the firmness, but I went back to my worn out pads after a few hours of trying to get used to these. Quality seems good though

These do not work, can't press diagonals and the pads are soft

Fits wonderfully but when in place they dont feel as responsive as the original ones. But great as a replacement part.

By far the best rebuild kit I've bought. It captures the original tactile sensation of the D-pad and buttons. I've ordered rebuild kits from other places, and the silicone was a lot flimsier and the buttons felt mushy.Word to the wise, you may also need to clean and recoat the contacts on the board with "Keypad fix" (basically, conductive graphite paint). If the copper pads are visible, you might as well clean it up and recoat them, because you'll be tearing the controller apart again soon if you don't--the copper corrodes relatively quickly, and stops working. Look online for guides on how to do that, and make sure you don't bridge the 2 pads with paint, otherwise the button will be permanently "on".

Easy to install, fit perfectly, so far so good!If you have an original controller that looks in good condition, use these to repair it instead of buying knockoffs.My controller works like a brand new now!

En los 80's y 90's vendían unas gomas similares a estas que servían para reparar tus controles, pero sinceramente no eran de calidad, ya que no las vendía Nintendo, sino una empresa que hacía cosas para el NES. Ojalá hubieran existido estas gomas en ese entonces, muchos controles seguirían como nuevos.

Worked great in replacing the garbage silicone contacts that came in one of my 2 Tomee USB NES controllers, I say this because I ordered 2x silicone button replacements for 2x NES controllers but recieved 1xNES and 1xSNES controller silicones. Plan on keeping the SNES one in case I get a set of SNES controllers as these replacements are good quality, but having only 1 replacement for the NES set makes 2-player gaming impossible as the Tomee controllers consistently move right when pointing up on the d-pad or left when pointing down without the new parts.

Las gomas de silicón son las mejores que hay en el mercado. No vale la pena comprarlas usadas, estas vienen selladas de fabrica y funcionan al mil, inyecta nueva vida a tus controles nes !!!!
