Nice upgrade for F-150
Installed in my 2018 Ford F-150 and I couldn't be more pleased. A great upgrade. These speakers are not the best for those who listen to a lot of bass heavy music but great everything else.

Loud and CLEAR!
I installed these in the front doors of my 2002 Savana van and am driving them with a Power Acoustic EG4-1000. These are 3 ohm speakers and that amp is 2 ohm stable, so I am pushing 95w to each door speaker.I love these speakers. As with most 6.5" door speakers, the punchy bass hits is weak, but the clarity in lows, mids, and highs is clean and clear. This is the 5th set of speakers I have tried and I am happy that I did.Did I mention these sound clean and CLEAR! I would not hesitate to buy these again!FYI, you never know who is leaving a review, or what their experience/knowledge is. While I'm not audiophile, competitor, or install shop, I've played with a lot of speakers and equipment in my lifetime. If your amp can handle 3ohms, and you can push 100w to each of these speakers, then you will like these speakers.

2023 tacoma trail edition, rear, excellent upgrade! Needed mounts and wire harness and was simply install , top trim part on tacoma door , remove all clips and put on trim , do not leave them in door! or you will be digging them out bottom of door

Clearly a HUGE step up from OEM speakers
I installed these in my 2019 RAV4 XSE and MAN they’re a big improvement in the sound quality from OEM. The brackets that came w/ the speakers did not fit in the existing holes to mount theses speakers. If you’re going to replace them, better order the Metra 6.5”/6.75” mounting brackets and speakers wire adapters so that you don’t have to do any wire cutting/splicing, just plug-and-play. You’ll have to drill out the rivets from OEM speakers. There’re plenty of online videos showing how to remove the inner door panel to get to the speakers. I agreed with others that mentioned theses aren’t much bass producing speakers, you’ll need to add an amp and a subwoofer if you’re looking for more bass. As for me, they perfectly fit my genre of music.

Clear midrange and highs
These play clear, but in my installation they don’t put out much bass. I really think they need an amp, which I may add and will update this review. They don’t play real loud on factory power, which does not surprise me. They are a nice fill in for the rear of the truck, and came with a fairly universal adaptor plate which was really nice for my 2015 F150 since Ford has changed their speakers. They don’t come with a wiring pigtail which would have been nice, but I had some speaker wire laying around. Over all I am happy with them.Update 4-20-21 I installed an amp on these speakers, and it really woke them up. They play loud and clear now and they picked up some mid bass which is nice. They still do not play very low, but I am happy with them. I highly recommend using them with an amp, my Kenwood does 65w per channel RMS and it’s a nice match.
