Decoupage Jewelry Box

I call this piece "The Marriage Box". Ornately adorned in old world attire, a man and woman are holding hands on the lid of this box. Inside, the box is divided into two sections. This is one of my favorite decoupage boxes and I have lavishly painted the background and inside a red-gold color. There are many layers of high gloss varnish and subtle cracking to simulate age throughout. Brass hinges on the back hold the box together. The box is 5 3/4" x 7 1/2" 3 3/4" tall and is a one-of-a-kind piece. Needless to say, this would make a wonderful and unique wedding present.
