Sunny Health & Fitness Power Rack and Cage Upgrade Add-on Accessories

The left J hook is completely missing both of the pads as well as the 8 screws that are supposed to hold them in. Also, if you look at the top, you can see the metal is damaged which would have been undetectable if they had actually installed the padding. The obvious lack of quality control here is very concerning for a product that is intended to support 800+ pounds. Unfortunately, you don't have many options for replacement J-hooks if you own one of these racks. As you likely know, the holes are an odd size and the standard sized replacements won't work. At this point, I am strongly considering selling the rack and just buying a new one from a different manufacturer that uses standard size accessories. I don't want to continue supporting a company with questionable ethics and practices.

If you have a Sunny Health power rack, you already know the hole sizing is uncommon and therefore restrictive of which accessories will fit. For bar hooks, you are pretty much limited to this one right here, and it isn't particularly cheap either. For some reason, they also seem a little more 'loose' in the rack then the original orange ones that come with the rack itself. Either way, they work as intended, so I can't complain.

These work, but they are not as a good fit as the originals, so they make strange noises that are concerning when you lift heavy weight.

I recieved (2) j-hooks but one is missing the rubber pad that your weight bar lands on. The threaded bolt holes are there, but no rubber or screws. Without it, you are just banging on metal. I contacted Sunny directly and never recieved a response. I guess that is poor QC and customer service.I have other products from them that I am happy with so this was disappointing.
